yes You tube and all the media outlets are playing the game but you see that alot...watch what ya say or black balls will be in your PANTS man...Bob I adore the fact that you voice your oppinion whats fun is that ya actually got to say it live did they Call today baby? I think you were sick and tired of being asked I would too.
The woman at the merch stand said they were vintage - they cant be 'cause they're new but either she doesnt know what vintage means or they are trying to look vintage. I think it was a more expensive design to produce....I think $30 for shirts is insane! But, of course, I'm thinking back to when I started going to concerts and tickets were $8 and tshirts were $10....
My husband now wants to go to Hartford and get crappy seats just to get a shirt. I would be fine doing that for lawn seats and not staying the whole time, only bc I dont feel like getting peed on or drenched with beer. Last time i had lawn seats at Hartford it was a mess, and it was a Buffett concert. Back in the day, we'd only get lawn and thought folks who had seats were lame, but after having seats in the first ten rows quite a few times, I am spoiled and don't want to go with lame seats.
That's a bummer about your shirts fading, I haven't had one fade yet. I love the one w/gold lettering that looks like the live bullet album!!
Another note...I looked in the store at kidrock.com a few days ago, not much there right now at all. In fact, they didn't have but one of the t's I saw at the merchandise stand in Memphis. I was disappointed in the merchandise available at the Memphis show. Came away only buying 2 t's...one for me & hubby, same shirt.
I wanted to buy a new KR hoodie, but none. I wanted to buy another KR ballcap, but only one style was available, it was fugly IMO, also had silhouettes of naked girls, trucker style, not my personality. I love the one from a couple yrs ago...low fitted, plain black brushed cotton suede like fabric, grey lettering simply says Kid Rock...nothing else. Also wanted to buy the kids shirts, but no smalls available in the ONLY t-shirt without adult related content. :(
Yet another complaint...the 2 t's I did buy, the black lettering faded badly when washed, even in cold water. I spend $30 fricken dollars each on those t's...don't expect them to fade with the first washing, expect better quality. The shirts under $20 I expect to fade, but not $30 or better. The shirts from tours past didn't fade like that. NOT HAPPY with the quality of these shirts! :(
I have several vintage shirts...silly me won't wear them though, afraid I'll wear them out & know they can't be replaced.
You had the same thought I did 'G', haha. I read That Girls comment in the Kid Rock Football Fans group...put 'That Girl' with MA, & being a Patriots fan = you know who for us, haha. Came to her page just now to see if I could confirm it was who I was thinking...guess not. Wonder how 'N' is doing these days? She wasn't around the other boards much when I left.
Anyway, moving on...very happy to have you in our football group 'That Girl'!! :)
cracks me up too.....and I loved that show...in repeats, of course. Loved that hair.
okkk...I'm thinking nevermind...yer not the THAT GIRL from MA that I know.
Do I know you? THAT GIRL??? makes me laugh.
well it was a thought...I do hope you find what you are looking for, I think I do know the shirt you mentioned... my son was checking one with a skull on it out at the clarkston show
I already checked out the store, but thanks for thinking of it!! This was a shirtt hanging up in the booths set up around the facility - I think it was #10. It was one of the more expensive t's, $50!! The woman at the booth said it was 'vintage' - probably just better cotton and super soft....I would actually love to go to again to the show in Hartford this weekend but the pit tix are on sites for like $300 each...and after being up close, I dont want to get lame seats!!
was it a tour shirt( with a list of the cities on back) or possibly just a kewl Kid Rock t-shirt that you may be able to buy online @ kid rock store...@kidrock.com...hope this helps, much love Lori
I don't remember seeing that shirt at DTE but I could be wrong..
Not the way they set them up at mansfield in the past...they were real booths set up with credit card machines, etc...no dude with a bag o shirts.....
