    Went to work this morning at 11am only to leave by noon. More for the safety of NOT going over the 40 hour mark, but...my reason for leaving is one of the other servers and I do NOT get along. It takes everything I got not to haul off and bitch slap the dumbass. She is just straight up lazy. Never has she pulled her weight or worked as a team like the rest of us...ok, enough said, I just can't stand her! So before it could get any worse, I got to go home, which I wanted too anyway. I think I feel better. Still got the ol'adrenaline rush like the old days...I can't believe we only have 15 ballgames left and the season is over. We weren't close to busy like last year. The whole economic issue hit home this season. Anyway, tonight me and my concert goin' friend hit the Ribfest and saw Johnny Lang perform for only 4 dollars, except another 20 went on food and drink. I only remembered one song he did many years ago, Lie To Me, it rocked then and still did tonight. He palyed over and hour and a half, not once breaking a sweat. I ask myself how did such a young person wind up knowing so much about the blues?

I feel you Angie. Believe it or not people don't think that at a library you encounter puking kids, parents who want you to babysit, and others who bitch about $.40 fines. Not to mention the lazy co-workers you mentioned! It's enough to make you just wanna walk out some days. Glad to know you were able to have some down time at the concert.
