"Kidrock open letter of thanks to the man himself"
This is my fb friend Amy Jack. She lives in Toronto Canada,a huge kidrock fan, and is coming to detroit for the August 17th 2013 show at D T E. She and I have never met, but we will on that day.
I would love to help her make her dream come true, to meet Mr. Rock.
I strongly believe that,
"Before you do it for yourself, do it for someone else, that makes it real!
Thankssssss,
Christine Carpenter

ha! anyone want to pass along specific recipes with beer and meat, please do! After being a vegetarian for 20 years (my entire adult life) I've gone back to eating meat--happily, I might add--but I have no idea how to cook it. I'm struggling to learn, so I could use some help. and adding beer to it (especially BAB!) sounds like a great idea. :-)
KidRockAngel--what kind of beer do you use in your marinade?
lol
Kinda like this?
PKL...I agree.
Sorry ladies, but I find the best friends in life are men! They are more trustworthy as friends, aren't full of bullsh*t, in a friends relationship anyway, lol...and prefer to watch the football game, rather than ignore it while gossiping about someone they recently say they saw in the local Walmart who has put on weight! I just have more interests in common with men as friends than women it seems.
Geez...all I have to do is find a guy friend who can also be the boyfriend/lover...then I''ll have the best of both male relationships in one package, haha. It's not as simple as it sounds, lol.
Ohhhhhhhh so that's what she said? I missed the fiasco last night.
Whats the 441 or is that the 411? Someone's in need of calling the information line and asking what the procedure is for removing their head from their anal cavity.
Why would Bob ever tell someone to not invest in something he's put his name on? It's nice to know you wouldn't believe that for one second, but something tells me it took you at least a day and a half to figure it out.
Kevin never told you this...how do I know? Because I listen in on all of his phone conversations, especially the few he's had with you. Not only this but.... do you take Kevin for a fool? He would never say anything remotely close to what you've stated....especially not to the likes of YOU.
Hint hint....LIAR!
Actually, that's a pretty slanderous statement you've made here, whether you've deleted it or not....its been saved. I'd say that if this effects anything he's trying to do with this beer line (aka money to be made)...you might be spending YOUR beer money in court.
But then again, does anyone really listen to anything you try and pawn off as the truth?
Well don't be surprised that one loves to misunderstand things and assume things. Which my daddy always told me one who assumes too much "makes an ass out of themselves"
Oh and by the way did you or did you not say that you can't stand drama? But then again you draw the attention to yourself by this comment:
Oh and P.S. I distinctly remember someone telling everyone not to invest in his beer and guess what? He said that Bob said NOT TO INVEST IN IT...hmmmm...I don't believe that for one second...
Seriously Tangie, when are you going to stop this crap? I am so sick of it, and so are others.
Me too! :)
I use beer in alot of marinades
Beer, garlic, cayenne pepper, olive oil on steaks Yum
OMG!! That's it Scooter!! Have a contest using BadAss Beer in cooking! A BadAss Beer Recipe Contest! YEEHAW! I'd be on that one! LOL
Pour some beer in Chili at times too! YUMMY! :)
Ang, I boil Bratwurst in beer before I grill them.
boiling brats....? LOL
And I appreciate your candor as well. I dont mean to protect anyone, just felt the need to point out that a Kid Rock site is prolly not the best place for stock advice. lol
A year ago I would have been in a position to Play with some funds and prolly would have invested. As it stands right now. well Playtime is over. lol Thank You nancy Pelosi and her cohorts. Anyway, No hard feelings I hope and i certainly meant nothing but success in the future for DKAM.
Oh, I agree...not a big fan of Wall Street or investing in stocks. I believe in investing in 'Me and mine', home and family first & foremost. Buying stock for me is purely for support of a product, person, or fun...not expectations of getting rich quick, though it would be a bonus of course if I did, lol. :)
How about the best BadAss Beer Jingle? lol
I ain't bullshi**in! I will buy 10 cases if you can't get your hands on them! Not sure about best method for delivery or pick up though, as 10 cases will be heavy! lol
Well, thank you for your candor. NO ONE, I REPEAT NO ONE SHOULD TAKE MONEY FOR ANYTHING ELSE TO EVER INVEST IN ANYTHING. The thing is that we Americans are now solely responsible for our own futures. The govt won't do it and very few employers still do it.
The knowledge comes in simple facts of history. Create a marketable presence. Create a marketable product. Appeal to the masses. That makes a product a success. That makes the company behind it a success.
Realize, that anywhere you go there are people of all different walks of life. There are over 12000 people here. I cannot control who does what nor do I care to be perfectly honest. The more important thing is that people accept information and do with it as they wish. The bigger crime is when people are the last ones to know when they missed a perfect opportunity. I will never back down from providing information and educating the masses for fear that somebody, of their own accord does something they shouldn't do with that information. It's what I do.
And an even greater crime is those who take immense pleasure in protecting the world from other people and from themselves. People need to be given more respect than that.
By the way, I don't believe that I have ever been on EKR. I went there once to vote on the poll for Badass Beer and then, it had a 78% chance of being a success. Most new products out there get around 40%-50%.
He picked them because can do it at less than 1/10 the cost of any other major beer company out there.
THIS I BELIEVE.......lol
Scooter,
I dont know you and you dont know me. So let me share a little . I love and respect Kid Rock for many reasons. If I didnt I wouldnt spend so much of my free time promoting him and his band....
I am most definitely NOT an expert on Trading.
I 1st noticed you on EKR many moons ago, Talking about getting in on the ground floor of this opportunity. I believe I asked you then who you were.
Then You came here and posted many times about the possibilites of getting rich on the stock opportunity as well as promoting the beer, (which I appreciate)
There are many people here that are struggling to make ends meet. Thery would welcome any opportunity to get ahead and be financially secure. You come across as a very intelligent. knowledgable man. You are on Kid Rocks website talking about his beer. You must know something.
I can very easily see someone believing that This beer is going to take off like Vitaman water or Sobe and they will be rich. So they take there Bill money and invest.
Thats what scares me. I believe in KR. I believe in the beer.
Stocks and Bonds Not so much.
You sound like you know. But I dont know you.
Does this make sense. Nothing against you personally or DKAM
Still not convinced u arent on the payroll lol
Anyway I wish BAB all the success possible. I dont drink beer but Ill use it for boiling brats Hows that.
Absolutely there are cons. As you have stated, the biggest is that as a publicly traded company, it trades over the counter. Over the counter has notoriously received a stigma as the "Wild West" of investing as the regulations are loosely followed and not enforced. But! That means that bad people step up to take advantage of that, and can artificially depress stock prices and/or force companies out of business by no fault of the company. Also, there have been some real shysters that have put their companies on the market for public trading that simply dupe investors. That all lends to the stigma that FOR THE WRONG REASONS PUTS A WET BLANKET OVER ANY GOOD COMPANY!
In this case, DKAM is NOT on the OTC because of any debt or because of sales or because of any mismanagement. Not even close. It is there because it is still considered a start up coming out of infancy. It is no different than Monster Energy that was on the OTC with the same balance sheet as DKAM at this stage of the game. Then Monster came with that ONE product that changed the company for good. It is why we call the company MONSTER instead of its real name Hansen. People know MONSTER. They don't know Hansen. People do and will know BADASS. They won't connect Drinks Americas. For, this is why HANS Monster stock went from 25 cents to above $400. Even the same thing for Sports Marketing. What company is that? The stock was 10 cents and a horrible balance sheet. It became American Idol/Freemantle Media/19Entertainment and the stock went to $30. Each of these coming from the OTC, or over the counter.
DKAM is on the OTC because of their Shareholder Equity being below $4 million. Many start ups have this situation. Also, because the price is below $4 a share. Once the Badass sales are booked, this takes care of itself. The debt goes away. The Shareholder Equity goes up huge. The price goes up. And remember, DKAM books ALL of Bob's beer sales and shares the profits with him. From there, as
I can walk a very long ways! As long as I'm not walking and drinking BadAss Beer at the same time, lol.
Pics...I might be able to come up with something creative, haha.
Not so great at video's...I've never even turned on a camcorder, or whatever they're called these days, lol.
I have to agree with all this--there could be way more KR & BABeer merchandise. I've actually looked for things to buy but haven't because the selection is so limited. and there doesn't seem to be any beer related stuff. there should definitely be t-shirts, hoodies, bottle openers and others. and they should have bags--book bags, shoulder bags, bags for bikers (like those T-bags that strap on the sissy seat of the motorcycle) etc all with Badass Beer related stuff on it. Its kinda surprising that there isn't more stuff... and it all could be manufactured and sold out of MI, surely there is a willing workforce there to handle it that need jobs, right?
Connie Jo I have to agree with you on the merchandise marketing....there is so much more that could be in the online store...
I thought it was some woman who came on here and said not to invest in DKAM.... and went on and on about wasting your money??????....
Scooter, you got my message... I wasn't sure.....??? And I agree with you he needs to get new marketers...Ones that take advantage of big beer social events and this is the time to push.....push....push....
Did I ever once mention your name Kevin? Did I? No I did not, so I guess you just called yourself out now didn't you...
Funny how your comments just went POOF! But they have been copied and pasted so no worries about them being lost...
Dear ugly, Trailer park trash drunk.
I deleted the previous comments out of respect for Ronny and his rules. I am glad you copy and pasted them, because I had every intention of sending them to you so that you knew exactly what I thought about you. I think you are a good for nothing snake, a drunk who doesn't understand the difference between fantasy and reality. I think the later in gets at night, the more alcohol you have shoved down your throat, the more you become a conniving bitch. Funny How my comments went POOF? No, you have 15 minutes to edit your comments, I decided having a war of words with an unarmed soldier wasn't on my agenda last night. I read the message board after a long day only to find the drunkard of the site coaxing me in with her comments referencing my name. Your right, not directly, but you made it clear who you were talking about. YOU ARE NOT SMART, TANGIE. YOU ACTUALLY ARE ON A RETARD MENTALITY.
Scooter, Scooter, Scooter.
You want to take another shot at me, feel free. The Process for marketing is out of my hands. I submitted a proposal through my company Directly into the CEO of DKAM. I also know the politics involved in the rest of the process. So, If I get the opportunity to promote and market the product, best believe I will do a good job, like I do on everything I do.
Second, While you give all the pros in regards to DKAM, are there any cons?
OK, then how bout this?
Who will walk the furthest to get a Badass Beer?
Or, maybe even the most ridiculous Badass Beer pic or video that anybody can come up with.
The gears are turning and no hamster required!
25 years
I know how the process works and has worked for many past stellar performers
I will do what I can
You want some more for instance?
A GREAT marketing person would have:
Had the Beer at Sturgis for 700,000 bike riders. Did Bob perform? Nope. Were there 700,000 Bud or former Bud drinkers there drinking another beer? Yup.
Had the Beer at the Minnesota, NY, and VT State Fairs. Did Bob perform? Yup. How many people missed knowing about the beer? Roughly 2.5 million
Had the Beer Center Stage at Beats and Eats in Detroit Last Week
Had the Beer at Michigan Motor Speedway for the Carfax 400 3 weeks ago. How many beer drinkers were missed? Another 400,000
Ummm does anybody know what Joe Robbie Stadium is now? It is Landshark Stadium. For Jimmy Buffett's Landshark Lager Beer. Now, there isn't a soul out there that doesn't think Kid is bigger now than Buffett ever was! Let's not play April Fool's jokes that Comerica Park is being renamed Kid Rock Park. Let's get it done with Kid Rock's Badass Beer Stadium.
Beyond that, there is his and our Super Bowl ads that EVERYBODY is currently in production on. But of course, those that do this for a living will only do ads of that cost when they have deep nationwide penetration already in place. But the key is that Super Bowl ads carry a much deeper meaning. Running a Super Bowl ad that goes for an extra 3-6 months thereafter takes it into mid 2010 where the beer will have nationwide penetration. And more than the sales is what mocking Bud will do just for the entertainment value alone. Like Etrade baby. It just sticks with you.
There are several more but I'm sure she has her arms wrapped around the entire situation. :)
No! I didn't say it was East Coast first. In fact, I believe they said a few weeks ago it would start in the Midwest and then branch out to both coasts. All that other post of mine said was that this Lion Brewery was the first OUTSOURCED brewery away from Michigan Brewing in Webberville is all. They are in PA which is East Coast but there reach does include Midwest also.
As far as marketing, that should be done before the first drop of beer is poured.
One sore spot I know for a fact that will be lost that I bet she has NO clue how to cover adequately. And that is distributor to consumer. The one thing that EVERY body needs to know is where to get the beer now. Brewers sell to distributors. Job done. Distributors sell to retailers. Job done. Retailers do local promos. A good marketing person realizes that word of mouth and signs and marquees bring in some business. A GREAT marketing person knows how to shout even louder to get everybody coming in.
So far, all I hear is whispering and still, they cannot produce the beer fast enough to handle the demand.
