I live by Seattle Wa, and I rarely ever hear Kid Rock on the radio, It pisses me off. The main "Rock" station plays a lot of "Grundge" such as Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots or older "Metal such as, AC/DC and Judhas Priest... ALL GREAT BANDS. Usually you only hear his current hit, none of the older stuff. Then you have the "Classic Rock" not on there, Top 40 , nope, Country sometimes, if it's "Picture", the more Hip Hop, not on there either. ANY SUGGESTIONS on how to go about getting him some more play/air time on the local stations , would be really appreciated. I get so sick and tired of listening to a station for a couple of hours and they play the same stuff over and over again. Maybe I should start my own station. LOL. I love so many genre's of music, and he is pretty much every genre there is out there in one way or another. I know there are so many of us who would love to show support. Much love to all.
i guess i have to agree with kevrock on his second coment too.maybe he missed kidrock's public anouncement, fuck it ,just still it.
i have to agree with kevrock on his first coment.it is all about the $$.but dont foget the early mornin stone pimp got buy w/o em for a long time.remember,if it is marketed right you'll buy it,but if its real you'll feel it.so fuck the radio ,buy record's and keep it real..God bless, kidlop
dee? You a kid rock fan, but do not have the album? Buy the album, Upload it to itunes, and be on your happy way..
Itunes doesn't have ANY Kid Rock music!! I have all of my Kid Rock on my I-pod, transferred from my acct to my POD.
Hey - Anyone know where I can download All Summer Long for my Ipod? The stupid Itunes store doesn't even have it!
Contrary to what people tell you, or tell the world. Radio play is not really based on requests. Its based on Money.. If a Record Label is paying to have music spun, then it will be spun. Kid Rock gets airplay in Detroit, and his current single is getting played all over the country. If you have a radio station that fits the format, the label would be paying them to play Kid's music. I remember being in Seattle in 1999, wearing my Kid Rock jersey, and people were still into grunge back then, and would make snide remarks.. I would suggest playing your CD's. sharing your CD's with friends and people, and getting Seattle out of the grunge phase it has been stuck in for years! :-)
Have a good day
1.) Call up the DJ's late at night drunk, smile, act trampy and friendly when you call.
2.) Offer positive feedback...I really like Judas Priest how about some Kid Rock/Beastie Boys/Anthrax
3.) Call back and say thanks
