Hey Bob & All, Wasn't sure where to post this....but thought you might be interested...ABC News has been running a series called "Made In America": http://abcnews.go.com/WN/MadeInAmerica/ The facts show that our nation is addicted to imports. In 1960, foreign goods made up just 8 percent of Americans' purchases. Today, nearly 60 percent of everything we buy is made overseas. The US currently has fewer manufacturing jobs then in 1941....The point is not an assault on the global economy as we are all intertwined, but what about things like..... if every American spent an extra $3.33 on U.S.-made goods, it would create almost 10,000 new jobs in this country. (!??!) And I heard another economist state that if that was raised to $64.00 per American it could equate to somehting like 200,000 jobs (!!?)... And this isn't about spending more or going out and buying new things....its about thinking and finding out where products are made before you buy them.... Heck - I'm no economist, but as an American, I think this is an important story, and would at least deserve some thinking & researching before I buy something new....The ABC site has some good/interesting resources & maps on where American products are made/maunfactured....There are some things like TVs and coffee makers that we don't even produce at all any more (wow)...and also highlighting American manufactured products: - appliance companies like Viking, furniture companies, candles etc... (Didn't see "Made in Detroit" highlighted yet. :) Thank you for your efforts Bobby!) So, have to run, but thought it was worthwhile to share....! And kudos to ABC News... xoxox

How great is that!!!! Almost as great as his concert in Memphis. We went with another couple in their 40's and had the best time. My husband is 49 and we had aisle seats in club 12 and he was dancing all over the steps with a finger in the air. I am 41 and have never been to a better concert!!!!!! Thanks Kid for a wonderful time. You are such a great person and entertainer.

Congratulations Kid! I am doing Rolling Thunder this year Memorial Day Wknd in Wash DC. Wish U were going to be there then, but you will be in Canada. So glad they chose "The American Bad Ass" to be a part of this Celebration. No better choice in my opinion! Am looking forward to seeing the TV Special on Mar 28th. Thank you for all you do and who you are! Have a Great Day and I Love You!

Hey I am going to be at your concert tonight in Houston and I got some kinda word that you might be having a banner that says Justice for Mike Hansen, he's my uncle...is this true??? That would be so bad ass...

I think its a great Honor for Bobby. Just getting sick of seeing Sheryl show'n up every where Kid performs. Are they connected at the hip? I understand he likes to keep his private life mums, and says he has someone special that is not a celebrity but he sure gets around with Sheryl enough. Hurts his image as someone you would look up to if he is seeing several woman all at the same time. Not what we need to teach our children. My opinion........
