I haven't always been a huge fan of yours until the past couple of years. I would listen to your music from time to time, but always loved you because of the way you stick to your roots because I'm from Michigan as well and still am there. Now loving your music is just an added bonus. I couldnt think of a better person to represent the spirit of Detroit or Americas. Watching you on Piers Morgan and hearing all you beliefs and what you stand for (which I have heard most of it before) makes me realize how much of a role model and all around wonderful person you really are. I shared this post with my friends because it is so true and opens people eyes. Keep doing what you do. Rock On and God Bless America!

Amen, Amy! Our son is a US soldier! All those listed were not much older than he is right now. Bob is so right that no one seems to take notice anymore of our soldiers sacrifice. As a military parent, we don't need to be acknowledged, but he sure does. For all those that say "thank you" when you see someone in uniform, thank you to you, and for those that don't, maybe you should consider it. God Bless all those that make the commitment and the sacrifice....

Amen to that! These people sacrifice their lives for our Countries ( I say countries because I am Canadian) and they should be recognized. I'm not sure what is becoming of this world we live in but we need to stand behind our troops. If you don't stand behind them, the damn well stand in front of them! I have family fighting this war and I thank them and every man and women who sacrifice their lives so we can be free! God bless you all!

Thank you for always supporting the military and being so aware of thier sacrifices. Let us also remember and support military families; their sacrifices are are just as important. The only thing harder then being a soldier is loving one. Take care, and God bless the USA. Amy

Amen to that!! Seems to be the word of the day...............We as the people are always kept in the dark. I would much rather read headline news that reflects the meaningful things that occur in the world rather than Lindsey Lohan. We need to get back to basics, family, community, fellowship, and faith, and so on. Our media and government tell us only what they want us to know! Its really sad how so many of our troops have died, and for what. I think as you do Bob, these special men & women should be honored daily for thier sacrafices, and loss. By the way was at your concert in Pensacola on Feb 14, BEST CONCERT I HAVE EVER BEEN TO!! I was third row from the stage on the floor, the show was SMOKIN HOT...........Keep on rollin...........Rock, you just keep getting better! God Bless

Going to look for this interview,, didn't get to see it.. I am stuck working 2nd shift for a assembly plant. I have been listening to the radio and heard a week or so ago that you were going to honored by the NAACP,,, wow thought that was great,, You have done so much for Detroit and gave to the homeless. I wanted to send a 'CONGRATULATIONS" That same night I got home and turned on the news ,, heard the clip from "let it rip" on channel 2 news,, was so shocked.. All because of a FLAG!!! I know they had no problem taking donations from you, but to turn around and say they will not show up May 1st because of the confederate flag. I feel these people have "NO CLUE" of the person that you are!!! I am always and forever a fan, I think you are the greatest person trying to change and help the lives of so many.. Suzie Q

Hey Rock, Amen to that... also great job last night on Piers Morgan. I been listening and following you for years and back in the early 90’s somebody said who are u listening to? I said Kid Rock and they were like who! I said you mark my word that this dude will be huge one day, now all those people and friends are like you were right. I rubbed off on a lot of people now and they love when the wife and I get them KR cd’s for their birthday, Christmas or whatever…so it’s pretty cool to see your interview last night because it just reinforces my word’s to people. You just reinforced how I felt about watching you after Piers Morgan last night... thought I could not love you even more..... You are a true American, wonderful father, honest, humble... I could go on and on. May someone the families of those deceased Marines find peace. I watched the interview last night on Piers Morgan. Quite honestly, this 64 yr old woman didn't know much about you but after last night I would like to apply for the job as your adopted mother. Your insight, morals, honesty and integrity came shining through. You are an excellent role model and your son is very fortunate to have such a wonderful father. And thank you for remembering the Marines who gave their lives for our country. May the Lord bless and keep you; may the Lord shine His face upon you and be gracious to you.
