Thank you Kid!!! As a Navy Brat, a 4th of July baby, and a proud Military momma (daughter navy, son navy and youngest son marine reserves)...Thanks so much for pointing out that celebrities do not matter when they are posted all over the news, the news worthy people are the Marines and other military that gave the ultimate price for our freedom....My two oldest were on the USS Pearl Harbor and their motto on their ship was Remember Pearl Harbor because Freedom is Not Free. A proud daughter and momma!

I do enjoy seeing charlie go above the law to prove that the Government is going to far with power and rules for good people.. Their is a line MANY LINES that people shouldn't cross on every subject.. Kid your a good man dont let power take control of you in 20 years... I know you wont! Charlie just seems so on edge, because of his abuse in the party lifestyle. That he lost his goal and well never find it agin unless he really sober's up for a good long while!!!!! Drunken rants like that should never go on, when sooooooooo many peeps listen to what he's saying.. I love that he pushing for the truth in 9/11 but rage with no answer's that make since, can drive people too point at every little thing, and as messed up as he is NOW.. Well he crossed the wrong line!! Thats the abuse of drinking and drugs... I do believe he means well in his Rants, but he should SHUT it till he take a proper rehab!! OO Rock you rock like a champ and do country just as well... Keep doing both PEACE!

Bob~ You are so thoughtful and very considerate. I feel the same way. It brings tears to my eyes when I think of these men and women that sacrifice their home life and their standard way of living to go over in unfathomable conditions and risk their lives for who? US!!! The media and the news doesn't even come close to giving them the recognition that they deserve!! It just pisses me off!! :(

You are my true red, white and blue. Thanks for thinking of others who serve/served in our military. It's all just common sense right to say THANKS for letting us be BORN FREE!

Wow so true! Thanks for your enlightenment and the great things you do for our military!

So very true! I could care less about all those celebs all the time. It's old. People dies everyday fighting so I can be free and so can everyone else. They deserve to be recognized for all that they do!

Thank you so much for being who you are and keeping it real. There have been way too many of American soldiers who have volunteered to keep this country free so we can do what we want that have gone unrecognized for their sacrifice and the sacrifice their families make. I hear about people protesting at these brave young men's funerals--what a disgrace. You are a kind, humble man and I am proud to be your fan. Please continue to use your fame as a way to get this country to honor the Armed Forces.

Thanks so much for posting this! I have had it as my fb post for a few days...awesome to know that some Americans still know what is real. Married for 25 years to a disabled vet from Vietnam injuries...seen him suffer physically and mentally everyday. All you who have served our country, THANK YOU and WELCOME HOME to those who made it. Thanks to the KRC for caring! Saw you in Greensboro NC and loved the concert. Keep playing from the heart and your fans will follow!

Thank YOU for putting all this media crap in perspective- also, both Lindsay, and Charlie should be ashamed of what they are doing to themselves and their families, and these men and probably some women, somewhere in the Armed Forces- had been so full of life- and in believing in doing 'what was right' that they got 'the short end of the stick!" Maybe we should just 'drop' Lindsay and Charlie over in Afghanistan, or give them a few years of doing 'service' such as you do, entertaining the troops- and they would come home scared shit-LESS(!)- and so glad 2 just be alive, they would NEVER want to touch drugs again... They could do follow-ups on the men and women they had met- and those that ended up at Walter Reed- HOSPITAL... any thoughts on this? I am so proud to just 'know you-' and how U always come thru for all our troops! Bless you and yours, and do the same for them... I think they are so far gone, that even this might not be enough. Been almost there- but by the 'GRADE OF GOD', I made it back. SO if they are so talented, why are they not talented enough to get their acts together>?!

I posted something like that on my fb earlier this week, it's sad. It's sad that our media would rather exploit star's with addictions than American hero's. We need to pray for them all but the hero's are who should get the spot light, not the addictions.

You can add a name to that list a friend of mine I went to school with just lost her son over there yesterday !! SPC Loren Miles Buffalo - he was only 21 years old ! He had less than 3 weeks left on his tour and they were planning his home coming. Killed Yesterday by an I E D . He was a real American Hero !

my son is a SSgt. in the U.S.M.C, he just finished his 4th tour, this on in Afganistan, where he saw on of his best friends step on an I.E.D. His wife is A Sgt in the U.S.M.C. she has done 2 tours, they have a son born into this who goes with the flow, they are both career military. They hate the media, especially MIchael he said we do so much good, and yet the only thing the media shows is the bad. They glorify Lindsey Lohan and Charlie Sheen yet do not mention Garret wiser who On Dec. 26, 2010 stepped on a I.E.D. Semper Fi Michael and Areca you guys rock, as do all who serve. Thanks kid Rock for remembering

I cannot express my sorrow, gratitude, & thankfulness to these and all of our brave men & women who serve this great country and unfortunately make the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom!!! My heart goes out to them and all of their families and all military families. It is truly sickening that these BS celebs get more airtime than our honorable soldiers:( I am a proud member of the American Legion Riders and participate in every mission I am able to for the Patriot Guard Riders..how dare anyone think they have the right to protest at any soldier's funeral!!!!!!!!! BTW YOU ROCKED JACKSONVILLE LAST NIGHT!!!!!!!!
catwoman_2's picture

MY COUSIN JOHN SERVED IN VIETMAN AND DID NOT TALK ABOUT IT FOR YEARS. THE DEATH AND DAMAGE WAS TOO MUCH . THEN WHEN HE CAME HOME NO ONE BUT FAMILY SUPPORTED HIM. THIS FOR A MAN WHO ECEIVED A PURPLE HEART.. IT IS SO IMPORTANT TO REMEMBER OUR TROOPS AND SUPPORT THEM EVEN IF YOU DO NOT SUPPORT THE REASON FOR WHY THEY ARE THERE. THANK YOU FOR BRINGING THESE BRAVE SOULS TO OUR ATTENTION. BECAUSE WITHOUT THEM WE ARE NOT FREE.
