    Got to spend some time in Kansas City today before the show with Make A Wish child “Alex”- We played “Born Free” and “All Summer Long” (at his request) in a private soundcheck today for him and his family, He is even the first person to wear my “EMSP l.e.d. hat!!” Had a blast spending time with him and I think he’s gonna have a great time tonite! Truly a young man god has his hands on. Rock On Alex, from your friend, Kid Rock.

After working in the medical field with kids for a long time it's great to see a smile like that. Totally amazing how these kids deal with their issues with such courage!

Bob, I spend part of my year raising money for St. Judes Childrens Research Hospital. I do ab crunches for an hour and get sponsors, all the money going to the kids so they can have the best care in the world, free. I visited last year and was more touched than I could have imagined. These kids need our help. Glad we are doing our part. Most satisfying.

I really like that God is a part of your life and you are proud to let everyone know it. Just because you have a rebellious streak doesn't make anyone less special in the eyes of God. I'm so far from perfect, I'm almost the opposite of perfect, but I do the best I can and I never lose faith. No matter what life throws at me, I always trust that God is doing what He had planned all along, and if I hang tight, keep my faith, I'll gain something that will benefit me. I believe God plays a large part in your life, and you probably felt like you were the lucky one to have been able to touch this little boys life and give him a bright, shiny, happy memory that no one can ever take from him. I just noticed something about this picture. You and Alex have eyes that look similar. And I have a question. The next time You come around do I get to "Make A Wish" too? Just Asking LOL Well if I don't get a wish,I'll still always be a Kid Rock Fan anyway.
