    Got to spend some time in Kansas City today before the show with Make A Wish child “Alex”- We played “Born Free” and “All Summer Long” (at his request) in a private soundcheck today for him and his family, He is even the first person to wear my “EMSP l.e.d. hat!!” Had a blast spending time with him and I think he’s gonna have a great time tonite! Truly a young man god has his hands on. Rock On Alex, from your friend, Kid Rock.

You r so awesome and make a wish foundation rocks. When my cousin was alive the Make a wish foundation made it possible for my cousin to meet his all time favorite wrestling hero Hulk Hogan. R.I.P. Bruce Lake. I am so happy to see that you took the time out of your busy schedule to make a childs wish come true and it appears that he wasnt the only one that had a special moment in time.

As the parent of a sick child (my son had a heart transplant in Dec. of 2009) and also a mother of a "Make-a-Wish" child...I have to say something. You have naysayers on here that have no idea what it is like to have a child that is living with (or dying with depending on how you look at the situation) a life threatining illness. Obviously the child above requested to meet Kid Rock. The fact that Kid took the time to make a wish come true is beyond charitable. You can see that the child was very happy and Kid did that. For one small moment the child was not thinking about the idea that he was sick and not like everyone else. I also imagine that it was not the easiest situation for Kid either. He has a child himself and I am sure that it crossed his mind that anyone could be in this child's situation. DO NOT BASH HIM. I am disgusted at the stupidity of some of the people on here. The world has no place for the ugliness that is sometimes appearing on here. If you do not like Kid Rock then stay off of his sight. DUH! @Kid, What you did was kind and generous as I am sure you always are. Ignore the naysayers as most are just jealous of your success. As a mom, I am proud of you and the kindness that you repeatedlly show ALL of your fans. Jen Wood
