    Momma Rock Responds!

This was sent to me by my Mom this morning, Thought it was pretty cool and wanted to share.

    Hi Bob,
Been thinking a lot about you out on the road in this unbelievable weather. Cudos to you for your response to those whinning about not being able to make it.You wouldn't have won if you cancelled. I remembered this morning while I was excercising and listening to Mr. Cash on my Ipod about the time Dad and I went to see George Jones and Tammy Wynette at Meadowbrook. It was late Sept. and in the 20s. We went in our hats, gloves and warm coats. The warm up act played, then Tammy and then the warm up act again. About 10pm people started to leave and as they did we kept moving up closer-never even thinking about going home (although we probably should have, because who knows what was going on there.) No show Jones finally came on about 11pm and by then we were about 3 rows back and saw one hell of a show. We went home raving about the show and always had something to talk about when George Jones was in the news. We still are fans to this day. At least he showed up-probably drunk and all. And as far as refunding the money-that's over and above the call of duty, but that shows your character and that is something I'm so proud of. Looking forward to seeing you In March.

    Love, Mom

....... And George played until 1am and Meadowbrook shut the lights down!!!!

I don't think there is an artist out there that is more personable with his fans. I love these updates and appreciate you 'letting us in'. Enjoy the rest of the tour. You were awesome in Dayton. -Toledo girl, Andrea

You go Momma Rock!!! I'm behind Bobby 150% ALWAYS! I've never been so enthralled by an entertainer and he is by far my favorite ever!! I never even cared to go to concerts and since my husband and I got married 7-7-07 we have gone every year, even without money, I stayed in the DTE parking lot after volunteering to drive my neighbors who had tickets-just to hear him live. We have both been unemployed and were gifted VIP tickets to the birthday bash and it was awesome. Hard for me to keep from crying being so close to him and so happy for him to have such a wonderful celebration. Thanks for raising such an upstanding, genuine, talented son!!! Praise God and God bless you and your family!!! Be blessed Kid,

Way to go Mom! You raised a son with Class! Personally, I know what you have to give up to live the life that you do. Family, friends, pets, and sleeping in your own bed. You sacrifice your life for your fans. It isnt always about money. You give up more than they would ever think about. Money cant replace the time away from the ones that you love. As for the weather, if you could control it - you wouldnt have to tour or make albums - lol! Just keep being who you are - thats all you have to do to keep me as a fan. When you learn how to control the weather - let me know - I have a few requests! lmfao

Great support Momma Rock! It wouldn't have mattered what he decided to do there are just those fans that seem to bitch even if they are hung with a gold rope! You did the right thing Kid! I have yet to see one of your shows. But I will someday! I have a 5yr old that thinks he is a miniature version of you. I would love to take him to a show. He is quite the talented little boy and knows "Born Free" word for word. He has to listen to your CD on the way to and from school every day! Keep up the good work. And stay safe out there in the wild weather we have been having!

Momma's always know what to say! God bless her for keeping her cool and not saying what she probably wanted to say when she could see her son was hurt! Hang in there and always know, when all else is gone, you will ALWAYS have the love of your mother. :)

Awe, how sweet. Mom's is right on, you were in a no win situation. You can't make everybody happy, it's impossible, you gotta do what you feel is right. Thanks for sharing :)

LOVE your mothers response!! Very sweet & heartfelt. She'll be happy to know there is no snow for all of you to deal with in KY tonight & although it's cold the sun is shining! It's a great day to be in the Bluegrass!!!

Hi Bob, I really like your mom.. She and I are about the same age, just guessing, but we liked the same singers and entertainers. I loved her letter. Hang in there Kid!!!

Love Mama Rock.. I saw you in Bossier Tuesday night and it was without a doubt the best concert Ive ever been too.. My friends had tickets for the Little Rock show but didnt make it cause the Interstate was shut down. They were very dissapointed but I think it's awesome that you are refunding money to those who couldnt make it. Your one in a million, Rock ON!!

i remember when... I saw kid rock in denver-4-20 and I got pushed hard from the 4th row behind me- kid stopped the show and looked down and asked me and my son (the dancing girl poles where way in the back on the stage) it was an awesome show for us- for him too see how great Kid was. And he was nice too!-On the way back to BRECKENRIDGE, I realized my ankle hurt. Still I drove home in the snow -the next day I wanted to go snowboarding but my "hurt ankle" was a torn leggiment (spelled that wrong) Point of the story- I WOULD DO ANYTHING I MEAN ANYTHING TOO SEE KID ROCK-I 'd walk on water-can't we do that if we are part of KiD Rock'S CONGREGATION. just got my padge of" feeling special"- thanks kid rock for all YOUR hard work-for my enjoyment. Can't wait til orlando!

MOMMA ROCK RULES! I have never questioned your integrity, Kid, and I don't personally know you at all. I know what your songs say and I've seen you perform MANY times. Your shows are the only shows I have been to in the last 5 years and I just saw you in Toledo. This year is different in the fact that I got Bob Seger tickets this morning! I love my 'local' rock! KEEP ROCKIN' KID and be careful getting there! You have a wonderful Mom!

You have a great Mom!! She is right and so were your actions.

I like your mom. She sounds very level-headed and looks like she knows exactly what to say to make your day better. I know you don't me and I don't personally know you, but one reason I'm a fan is written write above in your mother's note. You're real, thoughtful, and come from good blood- you're a good hearted American "badass" just like the rest of us out here who support you... for those who want to paint your page full of bad words- forget them. You made it- they didn't.
