    Momma Rock Responds!

This was sent to me by my Mom this morning, Thought it was pretty cool and wanted to share.

    Hi Bob,
Been thinking a lot about you out on the road in this unbelievable weather. Cudos to you for your response to those whinning about not being able to make it.You wouldn't have won if you cancelled. I remembered this morning while I was excercising and listening to Mr. Cash on my Ipod about the time Dad and I went to see George Jones and Tammy Wynette at Meadowbrook. It was late Sept. and in the 20s. We went in our hats, gloves and warm coats. The warm up act played, then Tammy and then the warm up act again. About 10pm people started to leave and as they did we kept moving up closer-never even thinking about going home (although we probably should have, because who knows what was going on there.) No show Jones finally came on about 11pm and by then we were about 3 rows back and saw one hell of a show. We went home raving about the show and always had something to talk about when George Jones was in the news. We still are fans to this day. At least he showed up-probably drunk and all. And as far as refunding the money-that's over and above the call of duty, but that shows your character and that is something I'm so proud of. Looking forward to seeing you In March.

    Love, Mom

....... And George played until 1am and Meadowbrook shut the lights down!!!!

Very Sweet that your mom always has your back and she is right to which you already know. I too understand as I always have my sons back too and with much love:) I too thought it was so sweet when you and your mom were standing together at the airport in Vegas (Sept.2009) waiting for Shakes to arrive and she had her arm around you and you two were very close, it had me thinking I hope my son and I are always close like that no matter what his life will be like in the future, it was very sweet. One last tid bit about that time too I love that you told jokes the night of your show from your dad and sang "When You Love Someone" and said your mom liked that song too! Made me smile! I am looking forward to Feb. 25th so much with my son as it will be full circle for my son and I and it will be bitter sweet :) God Bless!!!

What a great story. Looks like your mom is not a quitter either. Looks like the apple did not fall far from the tree. Keep you head held high and keep doing what you do. Thanks for all the updates. We here in Michigan know the true Bob Ritchie. Just keeps pushing ahead no matter what falls in his way. Thanks for the music and your dedication to Michigan in times like these.

Cool!! It's good to know that no matter what happens you always have your mom! We have an 8-yr old boy (who knows EVERY word to God Bless Saturday...LOL!) and having a boy is the BEST! My love for him is unconditional- ALWAYS!! It sounds like that's how your mom is to - that is great! I'm sure we might have some trying times during the teenage years (his dad was kinda wild) but I'm sure that he will turn out to be a great man just like you are!! I bet you never thought you'd be a role model?? hahaha but you are!! Just keep bein yourself - that's what we LOVE!!!! Be safe - get home to mama!!

Momma Rock ROCKS!!! WHOOO HOOO!!! You have raised one helluva man! Refunding tickets to the 'wanna be fans' who couldn't go to a show in the SNOW. WTH?!?!? Well, i flew from FLORIDA to DETROIT just to be at his birthday party. For me, it's cold below 70 degrees!!! And DANG if it ain't cold when it's SEVEN degrees. But, i did it. Flew in Saturday, flew out Sunday, JUST to see him for his birthday concert AND take off "seeing Kid Rock in his home state" OFF my bucket list. It was DOUBLE, no TRIPLE the best night of my life!!! I braved the snow and i've only seen snow ONCE. (two weeks before). Kid Rock FANS will do ANYTHING to see him perform. He is GRACIOUS and HUMBLE. And i can't WAIT to be on the boat. AGAIN. Good job and i KNOW you're PROUD.

Wow Moms are great! My mom would have stayed to! She loved all kinds of music, she liked Elvis when he was "raw". After listening to one of your songs she said,"I hear some real potential in that man's voice" She would really be proud of you and your new album! I think my mom and yours could have been great friends.

Bob, Your mom sounds very cool! Sweet, for posting that! Its unfortunate people dont see through to you and TBT making such an effort to maintain tour schedule in whatever circumstance(s). Im a g.d. proud fan, just surpassed my 16th show. Cant wait until #17. I certainly believe you did the right thing, and kudos going over the top sliding the $ back at disgruntled 'fans'... Keep on keepin' on Rock! All the best with the tour!!

Now off to the store to buy a new outfit for tonight's show.....(well that's the excuse I'm telling myself, lol) The YUM Center has yet to be ROCKED yet...soooo happy you're here. Love ya Kid!!!

Hi Bob, I really need your advice on a serious problem: I have suspected for some time now that my wife has been cheating on me. The usual signs: if the phone rings and I answer, the caller hangs up; she goes out with the girls a lot. I try to stay awake to look out for her when she comes home but I usually fall asleep. Anyway last night about midnight I hid in the shed behind the boat. When she came home she got out of someone's car buttoning her blouse, then she took her panties out of her purse and slipped them on. It was at that moment crouched behind the boat that I noticed a hairline crack in the outboard engine mounting bracket. Is that something I can weld or do I need to replace it?
