I've come to see that not all Fans are alike. Surprized?? I've seen older peeps at shows , I'm talking over 65yr olds, I've seen young kids, under age 12, I've see guys/gals, I've seen crazy deck'd out in Kid Rock costumes fans, I've seen old school Kid Rock fans, I've seen average Joe fans>
I've seen the Fans who always always - if you look at video's of the cruise shows are at THE FRONT ALWAYS fans.
I've seen fans who show their boobs.
I've seen fans who show their Kid Rock Tats.
I've seen fans who think they are all that, you know the ones who call them selfs the "Four Timers", cause they been on EVERY KID ROCK CRUISE and think they deserve some sort of status - Shazam
I've seen fans who call others "Newbies"! cause the are new to being a Kid Rock fan.
I've seen fans who are in their 40's but act like they are still live'in in their teen years.
I've seen fans who drink alcohol like fish drinking water, who have to have other fans hold them up and walk them through their drunk.
I've seen artists who love the Man, and call themselves fans.
I've seen fans who bully other fans because they think they are better, at what? I don't know, but they think they are BETTER FANS

I have been thinking about
I have been thinking about this post for some time this evening. I wrote my standard response below but I left out so much. I wrote in the past how I have eliminated really toxic people in my life. It was really hard to do. They were my world and I really knew no other. Looking back, they weren't true friends. I opened my heart to new people and through Kid's music, found some really kind-hearted people to hang with. We come from all walks of life but have this incredible bond. I have so much fun when I am with them. I smile - I laugh - things I wasn't doing with my former group. And I can honestly say, I am having way more fun then they are. They all think I have gone off my rocker. I don't care. My KR friends get it and that's all that matters. I am a Kid Rock and TBT fan. Rock on ....!

Thanks for your input Rocksavemysoul, happy your having fun in Life. There are some really true and genuine peeps out there, so sad at times its hard to connect with busy schedules and all, and yes Kid is the spark for so many that have met. Have a super weekend.
People would say i am a late
People would say i am a late fan...I would say i was a casual fan and knew who the fuck Kid was before the majority of the old timers due to being an avid reader of rock mags. That is where Kid advertising first started to the masses. I became more then casual with Rock N' Roll Jesus.
Anyway does it matter really? I would say i am a 40 something who feels like a teen @ concerts and when i am talking about music or on music boards. I don't think there is anything wrong with that either. IF you do that is your problem. I go to Kid concerts in jeans/shorts, Kid Rock tshirts, am known to get shit faced @ times @ Kid shows, will be a mouthy fucker @ times when drunk when you are an ass to me, and love his music. Never been on a cruise, wish i had. I am not the skinny white blonde bitch that will be able to hang on Kid's arm. I am more the rock steady bitch that might be able to hang with him and have a shot or two, talk some music shit and carry on with him....AND yes i could write some kick ass tunes with him with proper writing credit and shit like that.

You sound very independent Ajay, I'm that way too. I've raised two kids, held many jobs, been a sister to some, a friend to some, a grandmother, and a co-worker, and a fellow party goer, I love MUSIC. I mostly got into Kid when I started going and doing more for MYSELF, after raising my kids to adulthood, its allowed me to have my time. I used to watch award shows and thought it was sweet that Kid would bring his mother to events. Watched him in the news with Pam Anderson, I truly put a lot into Pam and his relationship being him more into the spot light. I feel Face Book and the public media of late have pushed Kid to being more thought of as a musical power in society. He is cocky, kind, yet being in the lime light for so many years he has grown to have a chip on his shoulder, with all that said I Love the Man and his enthusiasm to which he shows his career. I will do shots, drink with friends, but I'm not a at home drinker. I don't really like the up to 2am or 3am party life, never was like that and at my age prob. won't ever be that way. I get up early, and make it to bed around 10pm. I like it like that. I take in a show or two once every couple of months, and not all Kid - I enjoy lots of others. Thanks to you too! Maybe i should be a friendly drinker and stop drinking @ home alone to be safe and not have to drive. Designated driver's work too. I am a music junkie too. I never had the kids and embraced music. I am still looking for the right man in my life and honestly i am thinking he doesn't exist @ this point. I have always said i would rather be single and happy then with somebody and miserable and i stand behind that. But you carry on Starschatter...i like indie ppl like me. Perhaps someday we will be @ concert and can have drink!

Had front row before thanks to presale fanclub tickets, I'm not one to push my way through the crowd. Had nosebleeds before, those suck, might as well stay home & listen to their CD on the stereo.

No tats, if I did have any it would be of my children...I change my mind too much to do anything else!

Hello 1bbshirlee, Kid had many fans, and getting close to him is not easy. He does keep active with Facebook, and the administrators do a good job. To get to each and every fan- naw I don't see that happening. I've been able to shake his had a few times, nope never pinched his butt- that would have been rude and disrespectful. I've shown him every bit of respect, I am a critic of his music, and actions though. I may voice out about him but I LOVE him and wish him no harm. I'm not close with him and I hope he realizes I just banter on, I may get aggravated but its not at him as much as it is to other fans who question me and my remarks. I only wish for him to mold into a icon that others can look up to, and with him in the public eye its his calling to show others that he is a great person and someone of his stature should set a good standard. No one wants an idol a hero to be lacking. Kid has children who like his music, older generations of folks are even learning of Kids voice and they appreciate good music, I would hate to think Kid was dis-respectful to my Grandmother. He has seen a girl for the last 5yrs that I'm aware of her name is Audrey> I've not been impressed with the way she carries herself or the comments I've heard from others. Same here, my kids are now 23 and 26- so now I can get out and do the things I did not as a teen, I was shy and did not really date or go out. I had a close nit friend group, but now that I'm an adult and I do as I please- its just the finances that keep me from going and doing more! I love singing, dancing, and the social drinking, I'm a light weight there but I will par-take a shot of Patron! so if we bump into each other I'd be happy to have one with you, as I enjoy meeting new faces!!! I LOVE DETROIT also she is a classy City and well worth the investment. Architecture, Arts, Music, the CITY Breaths Class.

I'm close to reaching 40, but still feel the same way I felt when I was in my early twenties when I saw the our first Kid Rock show. I am also smart, beautiful, and totally love myself and my husband who also is a die-hard fan. I have seen several shows in the front row, yet I've seen shows from all over a venue from the nose bleeds and all in between and about to rock number 56 this Saturday.

Glad you have a significant other to share your life experiences with. I never considered myself good looking, I just was endowed with biggin's but there are bigger ones out there!! I can however say I'm natural, fun love'in, and I love MUSIC. That is what drew me to Kid, he has a diverse range of music talents and experience. Well since they gave the 3 timers first chance at tickets and they got a smaller boat so even less chance to get tickets to the presale. so i guess they just want the same people every year.
