It's this simple, If you bought tix to tonights show and can't make it, YOU WILL BE GETTING A REFUND, STRAIGHT OUT OF MY POCKET. I've never ripped any of my fans off, EVER!!! I have also NEVER missed a show. I know there are people who drove here from Memphis and Oklahoma, been in there cars all day driving and dealing with this shitty weather, the same as me and my band have the WHOLE TOUR. You so called "fans" on my website bitchin and moanin and saying i'm greedy, can GO FUCK YOURSELVES, plain and simple. Throw out my cd's and lose my number, I don't want drama kings and queens like yall anywhere around myself, band, crew, family or my fans.

Thank you to the real fans who not only understand my situation but defended me. It's not easy to tour in these conditions and also be stuck on the road with a teenage son at home and in high school. I make alot of money, no question, but i've never ripped anyone off to do it. I have sacraficed alot to live this dream and play music for all of you, i wouldn't trade it for the world, but the fact remains. To the people who made it too tonights show, I WON'T LET YOU DOWN. Now, time to make a set list and get ready to ROCK. Hope everyone traveling gets here safe!! Kid Rock (straight from the dressing room!)

So, you are Mother Nature now? Sweet, can you please go ahead and end that whole famine thing in Africa by making it rain there while you are at it? Good Lord. It is really cool how you keep in touch with your fans with this website; probably does not feel like it when mean things are being said though. Don't let the words of people that must be totally irrational bother you, or worse speak for the majority. I think that you are a fabulous artist and a wonderful musician - and it seems that I am not alone. Thanks for sharing your gift with the world. By the way, I love this picture. You look snuggly, love it. I am going to Florida in late May - no hurricanes okay? Thanks babe.

Well said. Hope the Chi Town show doesn't have a blizzard, but if it does, I'll be there. It's winter...this shit happens.

Dude, gotta admit I have been a fan but not crazed by any means. I really wanted to see Jamey last night, but am feeling the financial squeeze. Having been self employed, it would suck to go into tough working conditions, do the job, then have to dig into my own pocket to save face. Especially when I did nothing wrong, but fulfilled a contractual obligation. I'd welcome that kind of work ethic into my union local anytime!!!!! You've left them talking about the show in a good way before, and we welcome you back to try again. Do an outdoor on the riverfront next time-say aug when it's 115 heat indicies.:) Signed a more loyal fan

Look...Ive been a fan of KR since the beginning and KNEW he'd be at that show last night. I cant believe this has become such a big deal. Im from IL where we deal w shit weather all the time and I arrived in LR a few days ago to visit family and couldn't make it to the show due to family issues. But i wouldve stolen a four wheeler and gotten my ass there come hell or high water if id had a ticket. This is rock n roll people...suck it up!!! Be grateful that he DIDNT cancel in a day & age where so called artist/performers cancel gigs over a fuckin hangnail!! Stick to ur guns kid & so will the true hardcore fans who dont spend our nights whinin about the weather. DAMN. And i will c u in Peoria, ILLINOISE in a few days!!! Rock on MFers!!!!

You never had to prove to me that you are a straight shooter , and man of your word. But your actions concerning the snow in Little Rock just proved it to the world. Some people may not understand that Arkansas isn't used to this kind of weather on a regular basis. And we are not equipped to deal with this much snow at one time. I have never heard of a musician personally saying they will reimburse fans who could not attend a show of theirs. That my friend , is going above and beyond in my opinion. Keep kickin' ass This is just one of the many lessons other artist could learn from you.

You tell em Kid! I would drive through a blizzard to see your show but thankful we had decent weather here in the D when I saw you at Ford Field when you rocked it out! But we're from Michigan, a little snow doesn't scare us! Keep on doing what you do best and sacraficing your time with your son that has to be so tough! We love you!

Kid Rock, thanks for putting on such a great show for those of us in N Little Rock! I live about 45 minutes from Verizon, and we just left early to get there. Like the others that wanted to go should have done. There was NO WAY I was going to miss this show. I would rate it as one if the best EVER in the 10+ times I've been to see you! I saw cars there from Texas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Tennessee, and even one from Colorado. I parked next to a guy who drove down from Springfield Missouri, where they had a foot of snow...and he didn't even have a ticket. Those are true fans. My husband and I enjoyed the show, and this was his first Kid Rock show! He was suprised how all us fans that showed up got along. We had a real good time visiting with the other fans while waiting in the cars, and waiting in line to get into the venue. Thanks for not canceling!!!!! We appreciate it!!!! And we appreciate your band and crew!!! You are the best!!!! And ...please don't let these assholes prevent you from coming back to Arkansas!! We love you here!

I cannot wait to see Kid here in Jackson, Ms, my hometown. Its always a show and a goodtime. I shut everything down when it comes to a kid rock concert and would wait however long it took me to see him! Ive never had the pleasure to meet him or talk to him and thats on my bucket list before I die! Im excited and hope he stays safe on the road!

I wasn't one that was dogging but defending but i'll apologize on the behalf of Arkansas anyway. We're sorry that a several Arkansans acted like idiotic 5 year olds and hope the Kid doesn't hold it against the rest of us. Since i didn't make it to little rock though i'm trying to find the money to go see him in Memphis. So that being said i'll take him up on his refund and then use it to see him in Memphis, if i can figure out how to get it. Can anybody help me with this?

We LOVE the reality check!! That is what so many people need, and people either love you or hate you for it!!! (screw em if they hate)! You are trying to keep the cost of your cds and concert tickets down and out of reach from greedy people willing to do anything to make a buck!! Keep on doing what you do!! We LOVE your music and look forward to seeing you live someday!!! Take care and keep doing all the good things you do!!!

You go I'm so with you. Despite all the weather and crap that happened to you all at Wichita, you guys put on one of the best shows I have ever seen. It really shows your professional ability and your true heart for your fans & the shows that you produce. Can not wait to see you on the boat where everyone might be able to relax a little more and have some fun in the sun. You all be safe out there with this crazy weather.
Moni2elise's picture

I hated missing your concert in NLR last night but I sure appreciated the fact that you performed anyway. There were quite a few folks in from out of town and those that could get to the arena that were able to hear your show. Sad I missed it I just couldn't get there though I tried. Hear it was awesome as was expected. The show must go on and I know it's hard getting around in weather like this. The last time this type of heavy weather happened my husband was on tour and it was a nightmare for him and the crew. I hope the rest of your tour goes well. Be safe and peace to you all. Rock on!

@ kid rock. i'm in little rock. never really listened to your music much and wasn't very familiar with you. kept seeing stuff about this ordeal on the news. i really like the way you handled the situation with the snow, moaning fans, etc. you played the show for those who went to extremes to make it to the arena. you offered a full refund to those who weren't willing to risk driving. that was beyond generous and something you didn't have to do. i can't imagine many other performers doing the same. so kudos. you just earned a new fan.

LMFAO. HOW FUNNY, YOU GOTTA LOVE KID. HIS HONESTY, AND FOWARDNESS IS SO REFRESHING.

I applaud your reply to the drama kings and queens. We (my husband and I) love seeing you perform and think it is very admirable that you didn't miss the show. You can't please everyone all the time and you did what you were paid to do. You are a stand up guy and we love what you do for the City of Detroit and the State of Michigan. We are grateful to you and we can't wait to see you on the Chillin' the Most Cruise in April. You have some of the best and most loyal fans because you deserve them! Rock on!
cinbob's picture

I saw two of your shows this tour and you are so good and so down to earth .Why do people try to blam you and your band for things you have no control of like the weather! keep on rockin !:) Dont let them get you down! Be Safe out there on the road ! and warm burr its f-in cold here in Michigan !
Laura Sedlock's picture

I know you are the "Bull God," but the last I checked you have no control of weather or road conditions. But you sure are looking good :)
Jules_24's picture

AMEN! If any of them were true Kid Rock fans, they would know and appreciate all you do for hard working people! Keep the faith!
Daryl of Waterford's picture

Rock on Robert Those dowannabitch’s probably lack the intelligence to realize what it takes to put on a tour, the commitments that are made, the people that are involved and who would make the decision to cancel a performance due to weather conditions. Cancelling the show would have probably had a greater effect on more people than the number of people who were unable to attend.

My husband and I think you are a a hardworking stand up guy and went beyond the call to give refunds for something that was out of your control, Mother nature has been really nasty the last couple of weeks. I don't think most people would have done that it's like asking you to refund their ticket money because they got sick and couldn't make the show. Looks like the snow storms are going on tour with you and your crew guess mother nature wants a little of the Kid Rock experience then again don't we all. I live in the north part of Texas and my son lives in the Dallas area about 4 hours from where I live, he teaches school there and the schools were closed 4 days last week due to weather. When my husband and I watched you on the Pepsi fan jam we talked about the hell you had getting to Dallas due to the hazardous roads. I told my husband I bet you hate Texas because when I saw you in concert in july 2009 in Dallas it was hotter than hell and this time Dallas was colder than a well diggers ass. Don't let that discourage you from coming to Texas we really do have nice weather most of the time. I can't wait to see you in Thackerville OK. what a great Mother's day weekend it's going to be. I already bought tickets for my son, daughter-inlaw and myself just wished my husband could have come with us, someone has to stay home with the 18 year old diabetic poodle. I'm sure their are a lot of drama kings and queens here in the south but their are a lot of good people like my family that would like to show you some good southern hospitality if you ever pass our way look us up and will cook you a great steak and all the fixens. Keep up the hardwork, you get what you give just seems like sometime we're doing a lot of giving. from a true fan keepin it real

THANK YOU, I knew there's more to you I liked besides your music. I can't stand DRAMA either. Life is too short. I really think those people need to get a hobby or better yet, get a life. You all be careful out there, stay warm and safe. When you come to Evansville, In. next month, if you need some place to stay and a good home cooked meal just let me know. I would love to see you in concert and party after-words with you-all, but funds wont allow it unfortunately. March 4th is mine and my husband's 22nd wedding anniversary, and something like that would be the best ever. Don't ever let any of the bad things in life get you down (for long), because it all happens for a reason and according to God's plan. If not a lesson for us to learn, maybe one for some-one around us to see just how we may handle it and the things we learn from it. May God keep you and all around you safe and close always. A True Fan and Friend who care's, Carlene White
