On the pics w/ entertainers, I tried to just use some guidelines, like not while private time eating, what have you. Not before or after a show, ( unless I would've noticed time set aside like Lukas, which I didn;t but Bex I would have felt comfortable in that moment to have taken a second of his time.). Basically, if we happened in the same place at the same time, and they seemed open which one pulled me into a pic, I felt comfortable in asking for a pic. Kid Rock in the tub, I was there talking w/ a couple friends for a second and thought, man if he came out when everybody is pretty much at the beach, he probably is there for some self time. So didn't impose. Did about run into Kid Rock at the elevator and Chad pulled me into another elevator for some reason, so no paths crossing there . Saw Marlon, Dim, Aaron, Jessie out and about, but felt like they were having some private, or self time so didn't bother them. I hope I balanced it alright. :))) For those that I got to speak to for a moment or so, I have to say that they "were all real, real, really nice" ;) Down to earth and open for word or two and a laugh from time to time.

They get you with that sign & sail. You usually spend more like that. Glad you did good. I wasn't on this cruise, but I did just take my mom on one this past September (The Dream), we were sad for the folks the other day, but happy it didn't happen while we were on it. I guess they faired alot better than those on the Triumph though. :)

What did your mom think of the cruise? I know it stunck not being on KR's cruise, but the memories w/ your Mom were more than worth it, I'm sure. I can barely get my Mom to the grocery store. I thought about trying to get my dad to go on one next year maybe, but idk, my trip may be keeping dad out of trouble. lol... that man loves to have a good time. Must be where I get it from :)))

There were two incidents of the boats breaking down? Both recent. I need to start keeping up on current events again. I hate that for anybody. I actually thought about the one that was out for days and was super thankful that we had a balcony just in case we all got cooped up for an extra week. Geeze, I didn't wanna leave the boat, BUT... in those folks circumstances I think you would have found me on one of the row boats... praying I didn't wind up like Gilligan's Island... hahahaa :)))
In all seriousness though, I feel bad for folks vaca's turning out like that.

I feel bad for those folks too, especially the ones left out there for all those days. I'm like you though, in that, a balcony is the way to go. I could just sit out there and be content looking at the ocean forever.

You know I was so happy that our view when we were parked at Redneck Paradise was the ocean, just for miles. So beautiful and peaceful. Every morning I would say to Shirlee, my cabin mate, "Shirlee we are having coffee on the Caribean - WOW - it doesn't get much better than this." Man, I just went back for a quick minute - ahhhh!!!

Ah ok...haha Beckxy, I'd be afraid to call him Scooter!
I would imagine having people come up & wanna take your pic throughout the cruise would get old real quick.
I didn't take 1 pic of any of the musicians unless they were on stage. I ran across Marlon & said hello in the casino, saw Dime twice & Aaron & Jason many times & saw Jessica once. Watched Kid in the hot tub while we were waiting for our tender, but it felt like he was some kind of zoo animal that we were watching, just felt strange watching even though he put himself out there for the fans....but no pics except performances :/

lmao about the zoo animal.. yea.. I felt the same exact way. I mean.. if I felt good about it... I truly would of went up there before everybody noticed them over there so we could say hello to both of them.. which we were there but they got bombarded quickly.. and I was like naaaaah.. I'll stay clear. We were fortunate to say hello quickly to Dime, Jimmie, and Jason. Stef tap Gene and I on the back as they were all walking to a show together.. so it was a drive by hello..lol. I did get a picture with Lukas because he came out before his last show and made himself available (just like his dad used to) for pics and autograpghs... so I couldn't resist.. I said to him... man.. I'm getting my picture with an up and coming legend... such a sweet and humble guy.

Don't get me wrong, I would love to have had my picture taken with all those people lol I didn't wanna be the newbie that bothered the musicians for pics, I heard so much talk after the last cruise about fans & taking pics, I just went the opposite & took none. I'm not one to push my way through a crowd to get a pic or try to meet him...pretty cool experience for those people who were in the hot tub when Kid showed up, but it was looking pretty crowded around there when I left.

lol.. I say. Scooter as an inside joke. One of my friends yelled his name out and told him to come here.. and called him Scooter..lol He was nice to us... I mean he looks ornery and mean... and that may just run in the family haha. We encountered him while nobody was around him... I went up to him and asked if I could shake his hand and told him that we had gone to a few of his shows back in the Electric Rodeo days. He smiled and was very nice to us... but as soon as another person come up and started asking for pictures.. he was done. I managed to get out that I loved his song that he did with his mom.. and couldn't think of the song's name at the time bc I was probably stoned and drunk too (late night) but I said "coming home".. and that it's a gospel type song... and he was like.. Oh that's "Please carry me home"... you could tell he was getting pissed about the people asking for pictures.. so we took off after that.... we didn't want to keep him from where he was going...plus the more he stood there the more ppl were coming up to him asking for pictures.. and you could totally see that was getting to him.

By the looks of the video I've seen, Bobby Shazam looked hammered lol during the late night pool deck gathering I missed :(
I did pretty good during the cruise, only got "drunk" Thursday, the rest I paced myself & drank lots of water. I didn't think I could do it...I was afraid my bar bill would be in the thousands like some peoples I've heard. I think it helped knowing that every 6 pack/bucket costs ya $34 lol

Oh that sucks! Hope you get that straightened out with out too much headache.
I had them print up my receipt on Sat. we kept our receipts & looked it over then, everything was good. Our bill was $590...$340 was drinks, the rest merch, pictures...I was sucker for that one haha & service charge for the 2 of us. My goal was no more than $500 so not too bad..

Altho I loved when Lukas played with him at the show I saw. I have a couple of Shooter's CD's and I must say he and band are much better live, but yes, Margo, something about the attitude scares me.

I did not have any interaction with him, but he looked like a mean drunk...my impression by the look on his face...mean eyes.
