We were at the Tigers game tonight as the no hitter was happening, I never mentioned it, neither did my son or husband, we know better, but someone didn't cuz Anibal Sanchez pitched an unbelievable game tonight, and was robbed of the no hitter with 2 outs to go in the top of the ninth, by no less than Joe Mauer. UGH, but brilliant pitching by Sanchez. FYI for the baseball newbies, NEVER MENTION NO HITTER WHILE A NO HITTER IS HAPPENING!!! I don't buy into jinxes but I buy into this one.

RJL, you are so kind :) Thank you :) But, yes, any back up or harmonies I would definitely need to practice...I'm a soprano and practiced at singing melodies...solo. Singing together takes practice and sometimes I just don't know what to do, but I wanna keep trying...giving all I have.

Since I don't have the voice I'd really like to have, probably When it Rains, I've got one of those voices that goes well with country, bluegrass or a slow number.

thats a hard one . id have to think on it for a few days. match the voice with the song ..the range of the song things like that...I detest having a list of songs just thrown up in the air and I have to catch one of them and hope my voice would complement the song...and I tend to sound like crap unless I get to practice and mix with whoever is singing with me a bit.

Hard to pick a favorite.........I have a pretty good "car voice" or so I like to think! LOL. Sing to him daily on my way to work. It gets my morning going! Have also been listening to Kracker's Midnight Special. He has some FUN and really great songs on that CD! As for Bobby.... some mornings it is "Cocky", others "Born Free', others "Only God Knows Why" or "American BadAss:. It really depends on the day!

Well said, DIANA R :) I've been practicing my harmonies, but I still have a long way to go :) For days now I've been thinking of which songs I could sing back up to if I weren't overcome with nerves at the thought...not of what others would think, but for fear of messing up his musical masterpieces. Nerd that I am, I've been studying the harmonies and making progress on Picture; Collide; Care; Cocaine and Gin; Detroit, Michigan; and others I can't recall at the moment, but as a trained melody singing soprano, I have my work cut out for me...my frequent vocal train wrecks often make me giggle. I need a lot more practice :) Plus, I often find myself getting caught up just listening to Kid Rock's magical voice, not needing to hear my own...and reveling at how he hears and sings harmonies to his own voice...with that I am continually amazed...and inspired. But, I, too, often join in with him as I feel his music and lyrics deep in my soul and I just gotta let it out right along side of him. All in all, though, I sure have a lot of fun :)
