Kid Rock Charity Work, Events and Causes
Rock donated $10,000 to a Boy Scout troop in Florida, to replace camping equipment which had been stolen from behind a church.
Having made his mark on the world of music with over 25 million records sold, he now embraces the opportunity to act as a community leader. Kid Rock is a supporter of the Mosaic Youth Theatre of Detroit, Youthville Detroit, Friends of Belle Isle, Made in Detroit Endowed Scholarship and The Rainbow Connection, among many other charities. He established the Kid Rock Foundation that raises funds for and provides resources to other non-profit organizations across Michigan and around the country.

Neat resource, but, way out of date, and not sure how often it's used. For comparison, try picking a list of top ten artists, some super popular and successful, and others, around for the same time, not so much in the public eye. Paul Simon's giveback has always wowed me, and sure there are others. Some of the women on the list have done enormous work for female causes.
