    $165 groceries
    rocksavedmysoul says (26 Feb '13)

I was waiting in the Kroger check-out line this morning and watched in utter amazement as the lady in front of me graciously paid for the groceries for the woman in front of her, saying "I am doing this today because I don't know what tomorrow brings." The bill was $165. The cashier and I just looked at each other, both of us amazed. The recipient of the gift thanked the kind woman and told her to have a "blessed day" and left with the groceries. I then told the generous woman, "that was a beautiful thing to do" and "she has restored my faith in humanity." She told me that the other woman has a blended family and many children. I won't say how many here to respect her privacy but it is well over six. There are some really good people still out there!

I have always heard of people paying bills for others like that but when it happened right in front of me, it just blew me away. The generous woman was just a really nice, down to earth, middle class lady who has four kids of her own.

Wow. Have you ever seen that "pay it forward" movie with Haley Jo Osmet (I think that is his name. You know, the little boy from the "I see dead people" movie w/Bruce Willis) God! The movie made me cry. Did NOT see that ending coming. But, it is very inspirational. There are good people out there :)
