    Kid Rock has reportedly teamed up with a classic rock legend for a new song remake. USA Today reported Monday that Rock and John Fogerty teamed up for a remake of Creedence Clearwater Revival's "Born on the Bayou."

    The song is expected to be on Fogerty's new album called "Wrote a Song for Everyone." USA Today bills the song remake as "Crescent City meets the Motor City."

    Fogerty's album is expected to be released May 28 and reportedly also features song remakes with Bob Seger, Foo Fighters, Brad Paisley, Jennifer Hudson and others.

Had to add that I just purchased the Deluxe 2013 Rebel Soldiers Membership Package. Not sure if you & TBT are coming towards Pittsburgh / Burgettstown, PA during summer or fall. My son & I will surely be arguing over the package. Maybe I'll let him have it for his 18th. Birthday @ the end of March.

Great news, I'm extremely excited to hear it!!! "And I can remember the fourth of July,Runnin' through the backwood, bare. And I can still hear my old hound dog barkin', Chasin' down a hoodoo there. Chasin' down a hoodoo there." It's phenominal that you can perform with John Fogerty after all those years ago when he was not permitted to play or sing the songs THAT HE WROTE. That was a sure travesty of justice at the time. Hope the tour is going well & still dying to see you again. Much friendship & LOVE!!!

I'd heard Mr. Fogerty's album was postponed so thank you, WebCrew, for your update...really appreciate your info and efforts :) I recently heard the original and it made me all excited for the Kid Rock version...honestly, it's his voice I heard singing it already :) Was I the only one who had to look up choogling? As long as they weren't dissing the man but instead intimating he continued to excel (as far as I can figure) I was ok with the term :) Ummm...love, love, love the awesome shirt...and the man inside :)
