I love Frank Lloyd wright. He did some wonderful contemporary architecture also. There are some good examples in Dallas. In fact we were thinking about selling the lake house and having something contemporary built resembling his architecture. I used to love antique and lots of fine details such as carved wood and such and it is very beautiful to look at but as I get older I'm starting to like the simplicity and clean lines of modern. My husband and I have always differed in taste and I usually managed to be the decorator but we are starting to share the same ideas on design more. Who knew? I think it comes from all those years of having to dust those details. Lol

Thoughtful reflection, RJL :) Thank you. :) I love antiques and fine details...shows some character, some history...but I'm more of a dishwasher than a duster. I don't mind, it's just not the first thing that comes to mind to do :) Yep, dishes, vacuuming, and outdoor stuff before bathrooms and dusting is a little more how I like to roll :) I do like the simple clean not overly cluttery kitchen lines for a functional kitchen, but still with some old school flare. I've been know to polish and dust stuff on occasion :) Already outstanding right up my alley taste moderation is a choice I endorse and support...one I trust implicitly. :)

I lived 5 yrs of my life (through kindergarten) in Spring Green...fond memories of childhood outdoor playtimes...kick the can, learning to ride a without training wheel bike because the younger neighbor boy was already riding one...guess I've always been a little spicey :) Whodathunkit? Thanks for the smiles :) House on the Rock is worth the admission to tour FLW's megacool house but there are lots of crazy cool random things to look at...most can't view it all within 3 hours...that'd be pushing it. Really quite an entertaining time :)

You guys are too nice and yes I had one hell of a weekend, I mean heavenly . This only thing I missed was getting to meet Bobby. So close yet so far away. He stayed on the same floor as my son. Yes, my son being the king , had to get a suite on the 15 th floor. I am completely wiped out and so tired but every bit worth it. I was a little hard on Buckcherry but who wouldn't be when they have to stand up next to Kid Rock and the TBT'S . Lol. I do have to say that their drummer , again, stole the show and was outstanding , in my opinion. And BB hopefully if we get to meet again, I won't be so late. Sorry. Hope you and you family had a wonderful time. If anyone ever goes to Tulsa , take the time to drive around town and see all the steeples and amazing architecture. It was absolutely beautiful and I don't recall seeing it when I was previously there for the antique show but then again that was many years ago. Thanks again to all the wonderful people on this site.

In addition I have no pancreas, no spleen, the us record for the most pancreatic stents including bouts of pancreatitis and never once have you heard me blame any of my feelings towards others on my condition. I am happy, thoughtful, playful, humorous , and generally of good nature despite those things I choose normally not to mention especially as an excuse. We all have problems. The local dairy barns roof just collapsed, the siren is blaring for all responders, and 40 cows/cattle are trapped under the roof. The roads are impassable. My Dad, eldest of nine was raised on a dairy farm and tears are streaming down my face as I type thinking of these trapped animals.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I cannot use those...the neurologist gave me paperwork I reviewed that said I must not ever go to events with that light show, hun. Is it the whole show? If so I grieve as I must miss these events. On the MS site I use folks refer to it as frying your optic nerve and very painful if it directly enters at floor level. Yikes. I feel terrible but at least I save money..well not really because no shows are booked in Northeast yet.
