The Allesee Gallery of Culture and the Kid Rock Music Lab
Imagine hearing the unmistakable sound of a baseball meeting the full force of Hall of Famer Al Kaline’s bat at Tiger Stadium. Imagine feeling the thrill as the solid, brass-colored elevator doors slowly opening onto the 12th floor of downtown Hudson’s, revealing aisle upon aisle of your favorite toys.

I love it. Great song and great story below.
Hi msbehavin, I don't post
Hi msbehavin, I don't post too much on here, but I read post every now and then. This caught my eye. I will share a story with you. Right before Christmas my sister was diagnosied with cancer. It has broken out hearts. A few weeks ago I had some down time at work and wrote a poem/song. Its about a pearls from the ocean floor and for all to adore....... bla bla. So, we were at my cousin's funeral who passed away at age 50 with breat cancer. Me and my sisters were out eating afterwards with our pink ribbons on, and we wanted to know what color was for lung cancer so we can support my sister;s fight. We looked it up, it's pearl! I almost lost it, I had that piece of paper in my purse with the song written on it. So we shared a day together making pearl bracelets for all the girls in the family and we wear them everyday. I just want to say thanks for sharing your song.I believe there is so many things God shares with us,we miss them sometimes. Keep on Rockin!!
Hi ROCKREHAB :) Thank you for
Hi ROCKREHAB :) Thank you for your sharing which touches my heart deeply. I say to you truthfully my heart broke so when I first read your post over a week ago that I didn't know how to respond...and really couldn't until now. I didn't know what to say with my heart broken so. Please forgive me that I didn't say something sooner. I am soul sorry for the loss of your cousin at such a young age. My tears and prayers are with you and your cousin's family. May you feel God's grace, love, and protection surround, support, comfort, and encourage you through your loss. I didn't know either that pearl was the color for lung cancer. What a beautiful story of spending your time together making bracelts for family to support your sister. My tears flow with the beautiful support you all are showing for her. How is your sister? After the timing of such shocking news, have you found out more since then? What options are available? I'll add her to my daily prayers...as will I include you and the rest of your family. May you feel God's grace, love, and protection surround, support, comfort, and encourage you as your sister grows, heals, and lives the life God asks.
Thanks Montana Anna for the
Thanks Montana Anna for the prayers, we all can feel them. My sister has had her 5th chemo treatment, they want know if its working untill March. But in bad times, I knew we would see blessings and we do everyday! Sista is great spirit, we been learning and laughing trying to tie scarves. playing with wigs. there are three of us, we see each other every Sunday, we started going to church together and out to lunch afterwards.Every week, she has not missed one, is one that I am so thankful for. I just hope it does not stop. Kinda in denial. But thank you for your thoughtfullness ( is that a word)? and your prayers.
Your spending time with angel
Your spending time with angel family, ROCKREHAB, reminds me of angel friends meow uploaded and how butter guru OF fbc helped me out...good friends they are ;) BG spoke of her close friend. the 20 year longest in the US survivor of lung cancer. :) I thought of your sister and I chose what I wanted to see...and I put in a good word with someone ;) Now, go GREEN! No, wait, that was some other thread :)
Oh what joy and smiles your
Oh what joy and smiles your sharing bring to me! :) Thank you for updating me :) I can hear CRASH INTO ME the positivity and great spirit of your Sundays together...what wonderful precious thoughts come to my mind! :) The learning and laughing really touches my heart part reminds me of a recent picture one OF my friends showed me of her scarf tying experiences...I have not ever seen such glowing health radiating out of her also great spirit as in those pictures...well, except what radiates from her today as she's cancer free :) I chose to believe they have a lot in common :) Ahhh, I love Sundays like that. I like to go to church when I can. I can benefit from a bit of schedule structure sometimes ;) And going out to breakfast, we isn't that part of the whole experience...praising and then breaking bread together :) In my earliest years we used to go to my dad's grandpa and grandma's every Sunday after church. Aunts, uncles, cousins hanging, eating good food, playing match box cars in the weirdly but awesomely perfect for racetracks 70's carpeting, sledding or walking by the crick...good times heal a lot of stuff. I'm also thankful for feeling how you see and experience your daily blessings. Denial is a toughie, natural part of any change in perception process and I believe focusing on the positive love energy swirling in and around all of you, well, it helps put a good spin on things and builds a pretty powerful healing prayer hedge around your beautiful soul sister :) That's what I'm thinking anyway :)
This is great as it reaches

Feel it in my heart. Kind of like Kracker's "when I close my eyes". I LOVE that song from Midnight Special. Touches the right places in the soul. My heart hasn't been broken, going on 31 yrs married, over 33 together, but the lyrics are just right. Good job!!!!
The lines that took my breath
The lines that took my breath away at first were, "Too bad for all of us..I'm already your wife."...
then going into picking up the dropped pearls, like so many broken dreams/promises...heartbreaking yet so real, girl.
