Too tragic. When something
Too tragic. When something like this hits home in Michigan it bring all into perspective. I have heard about multi car pile ups out West during snow storms, but not here in Michigan. I remember that plane crash in Michigan with the lone baby survivor. Didn't she end up somewhere in Arizona? I was a teenager then. Makes you remember what is truly precious in life! I was just in downtown Detroit last weekend at a DSO concert and traveling the local roads. Things can change in an instant.
Blue: My brother in law was a
Blue: My brother in law was a first responder for Flight 255 (part of the Downriver Mutual Aid team). He never talks about it.
WDIV has released the name of the man who died in the I-75 crash yesterday. I did not know him. His name is Menlaos "Larry" Manolis, 54, of Allen Park. So sad. The other two victims were children from Windsor. God Bless all the families.
First responders, police fire
First responders, police fire...bless those peeps. What they see must scar them.
I don't think that I heard
I don't think that I heard about the plane on 75 til I read on to Blue's post, it seems a bit familiar. It is all so sad. Def. prayers to all the Families.
I hope all of you escaped
I hope all of you escaped that tragedy today. When power restored from storm, the carnage on 75 was the first thing I saw on cable...reminded me of a similar appearance when that plane fell apart on 75, and just one little child survived. MI was X's business territory, and he was originally scheduled on that flight seated next to that Mom and baby. Changed at last min, but, failed to notify his Mom because he was more interested at hitting a Flint strip club and the Machine Shop for a show. I swear, that call, hearing his Mom keen and scream, took 20 years off my life.
wel... something good came
wel... something good came out of the strip shop at least ;)
LOL, yep. But not much else.

What do you say what do you do? I hear of tragedies more then i like. I pray for those ppl injured is all i can do.
that's what you do, all you
that's what you do, all you can, which is a prayer here. Prayer moves mountains, and so if that's all one has to give, it's actually a whole lot, of all you got.
Three killed in the Detroit
Three killed in the Detroit pile up, two were kids. So very sad. The adult victim is from Allen Park, my hometown. They haven't announced a name yet.
thx for the update RSMS -
thx for the update RSMS - prayers still going out. that's probably the only thing I don't like about Michigan, not the snow, but driving in it. Rain no prob, snow I feel so out of control it's scary. I know on fb there seems to be so many things folks are facing too, many prayers for everyone I can. Wish I could do more, but that's all I got.

As of this morning 2 people were killed in Ga---at least that's what the news said earlier. Several were injured---those tornadoes came thru Adairsville and Cartersville yesterday---I live at exit 265 off I75 and the tornado was at exit 306--between Atlanta and Chattanooga, Tn.
They had 75 shut down for several hours in both directions. Thank God---It was no where near as devastating as the Alabama, Georgia and Missouri tornadoes in 2011. People are still recovering from those---
Thanks for more info MsB.

What a small world!! I lived in Cartersville too when I first moved to Ga. ---live in Marietta now. I really love it here---reminds me of Detroit (which will always be home to me :-)
Atlanta's just a bigger city--but as far as the people here go---Detroit Soul. :-)
