Wanna six string shooter rockin' in my head~~outlaw style on Redneck Paradise!!! Getting close now... and husband's having dreams at night about palm trees swaying :) STOKED !!!

that's a nice incentive tho, Margo.... by the time you guys are retired it's all yours. Once we can manage on buying a home, I'd love to go that route too :)

I'm not too familiar with Shooter or Lukas, only have seen videos on CMT from both them not too long ago. Looking forward to watching them though...I think you're right, Becky about the choices of the bands on the cruise being people Kid wants people to become familiar with.
lol about the tax refund being beer money! I'm doing mine this weekend & that's exactly what some of it is going toward, though mine will be less than last year I refinanced to a 15 yr with lower interest rate, so I paid less mortgage interest, but my mortgage will be paid off in 15 yrs woohoo!!

off the subject.. speaking about "I may be down and out but I still ain't out" Just did our federal taxes and it looks like we are getting back a decent chunk because of the money we paid for my books and courses at college... getting that all back... because of the tax credit... whoop whoop.. now we officially have beer money... I was afraid we wouldn't be able to do any drinking on this boat... bless you tax credit!!!!!

Ajay... I love the way you think. We followed Shooter for a couple of local shows in the area when he came to town.. small bars... GREAT shows!! Him and Leroy Powell made one hell of a team. I'd say a must have album is his 'Live at Irving Plaza' album. Now, as for Lukas, never saw a show..... love his pops ever since I was a lil kid when dad brought home his records (well all those good outlaw records) from his truck driving trips and mom took me to see "Honeysuckle Rose" in the theaters. I still have the soundtrack from that movie when dad brought it home for my brother and I. I just recently found out about Lukas as I saw him on the line-up for this past Farm Aid at Hershey, PA.... thinking... is this Willie's kid... and then found this...

Never heard much of Lukas Nelson, but guessing by that last name i will say he has probably had a few tokes and it ain't bunk he was smoking! And Shooter i have heard about, never seen live. Would be a good experience for me. I like to dabble in all kinds of music as far as what i listen to, see live, etc. I feel it subjects me in ways to a different subculture in music, which is good. Blackberry Smoke i have heard about too, never seen...

THIS is really making me hope and pray i win them damn tickets through 6th man! But i ain't gonna cry if i don't. If i stayed down every time i got knocked down i would never get off the ground! So i'm gonna keep my chin up, take a few in it, and come up swinging like Tyson in 86' if that be's the case! Like old Kracker says i may be down but i still ain't out!

I guess anything's possible blue... just not holding my breath for someone who has held a big career in music like that.... I tend to think the kid likes to open our minds to musicians with less following who deserve to be heard.
