    Bob Seger and Kid Rock are good friends who have talked about doing shows together for years. Finally, this vision has become a reality. Both artists have been preparing for Spring tours. The trick was getting the tour schedules, which are crisscrossing the country, to match up. The result will be two special concerts featuring Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band and Kid Rock & The Twisted Brown Trucker Band: the first in Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN on March 15, the second in Fargo, ND on March 16.

    Seger and Kid Rock go back a long way. The two became friends shortly after they met in 2000. Rock inducted Seger into the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame in 2004 and appeared on Seger’s 2006 Face The Promise album for a duet of Vince Gill’s “Real Mean Bottle”. Seger appeared on Kid Rock’s Born Free album playing piano on his duet with Sheryl Crow, “Collide”. Seger and his Silver Bullet Band have often rehearsed at Rock’s rehearsal warehouse. Both share an interest in classic cars and both have stayed true to their Michigan roots.

    Seger has written and recorded many timeless classics through his career including Turn The Page, Night Moves, Mainstreet, Against The Wind, Hollywood Nights, Like A Rock, Rock And Roll Never Forgets, We’ve Got Tonite, Old Time Rock And Roll, Her Strut, You’ll Accomp’ny Me, Travelin Man/Beautiful Loser, and Katmandu.

    Kid Rock, an early innovator, masterfully clashing hip hop, rock and country musical styles, has written and recorded many classics of his own, including “Bawitdaba”, “Cowboy”, “Only God Knows Why”, “Picture” (duet with Sheryl Crow), “All Summer Long”, “So Hott”, “Born Free”, “Forever”, “American Bad Ass” and soon to be’s from his new album “Rebel Soul”.

I traveled for 5 hours to see Kid Rock and Bob Seger! I raised my kids on Bob Seger and could not wait to see him live. Let me just say, I still love Bob Seger and his songs, BUT....KID ROCK, YOU ARE MY NEW HERO!! YOU BROUGHT DOWN THE HOUSE IN ST. PAUL AND I WILL NEVER FORGET THE SHOW YOU PUT ON!!! Not sure why there's no tour dates for Canada! Maybe Kid Rock will show up in Saskatoon Saskatchewan,Canada Bob Seger is on March 23/13 . The last time Kid Rock and The Twisted Brown Tucker Band were in our city was in 2008, Seen you with Bon Jovi in Regina Sask at the stadium and again at Brandit centre Regina Sk . Saskatoon has a way better arena, Bob Seger must think so he pick Saskatoon out of 4 city's in Canada .My friends and i were planning a trip to the US hoping to see KR and Seger would have been great if they finished their tours in Detroit That was the dream plan!!!!!!! Always a fan what an amazing artist , very few have as many flavors in music as Kid Rock that why Kid Rock and The Twisted Barown Tucker Band are my #1 in music

For the most part...the mention of GA gets my blood flowing instantly. I like to be the person who runs to get a spot up front near the stage (and I'm tall) but inevitably some drunk girl has to get a picture and after letting her up to get that marvelous pic, she decides to stay and enjoy the rest of the show from her new found position. Last show, I saw three girl fights just for this reason. Honestly, if it was not for Betty last time, there would have been no way for me to get back to my earned spot up front (just because people were holding their spots...but they had just seen me leaving to get a beer...that is also equally rude). It was not like I was going in and out...one beer and an hour before the show. I think everyone could benefit from using the basic rules in this article. Another good source on how to act...The Bible! You won't find mention of a rock concert in the Bible but please use those same basic principles when you go to see one. Everyone would get along so much better!

Hey AMY-72, Presales have a limited amount of tickets available determined by the artist(s)or promoter. This is typical I think as I have seen it before. It's a better way to make it happen giving everyone the chance. Saturday after the sale to the public opened I was not suprised that at 10:01am there were no floor seats available. Checking back at around 11:30am it was great!!! Floor L Row 8 baby!!! Keep checking back on TM as I picked up Row 1 for Madonna back in November on the day of the show.

I was REALLY hoping the boys would get together at the Toledo, OH show! So close to their homes in Michigan! But, my hopes were dashed when I saw the Bob would be up in Canada on March 21 and 23. I guess it would be too hard for him to make it to Bobby's show in Toledo on the 22nd :( Damn! My two favorite Michigan artists.
