I am doing okay with this. My problem is i am too busy studying and working to work out as i should. I got two months of gym membership from my parents for pinning and i intend to use it in the near future. I think i am doing okay though i have lost 75 lbs since August 2011. I would like to take off 20-30 pounds and see where i am @ and how i feel @ that point.
How do i eat? Shredded frosted minnie wheats with 1% milk and hot tea with 1% milk and splenda for breakfast (have to have fiber for my gut condition). Couple hours later i eat a piece of fruit. Couple hours after that a lean cuisine and a half a can of veggies. Couple hours after that a piece of fruit again. Couple hours later a bag of veggie steamers and non breaded chicken about the size of a deck of cards with bbq sauce or something. And then lastly i eat a piece of fruit before bed.
Once i get back to working out i expect the pounds will start to come off again instead of the plateauing i am doing right now due to book reading type of sedentary lifestyle i lead. But unfortunately i don't have much choice.
I consider myself a work in progress. My work isn't done yet. I don't expect the pounds to fall off when i got back to working out either. I have taken off the easier weight. I am realistic i figure probably 10 of those pounds between now and cruise time....

idk.. Val... I gained the 20lbs back that I lost before last year's due to being mostly sedentary at work and school too... I waited to long to start back up... and wish I wouldn't of stopped in the first place.. my time management sucks. I started first thing New Years... didn't get results like I had wished until I started doing the circuit machines along with the hour of treadmill... instant 4lbs dropped. I think it does work. Now I need to lose another person off of me.. so I realize the numbers may be a bit bigger in the beginning. Anyway... this whole thing of starting up and stopping needs to stop for me. I wanna live a long life with hubby.. my fat stores are closing up.. no place to find cute cheap chubby clothes.. there is no next time. Well.. I still have this goal to knock out 16lbs by cruise to be at least what I was back in April. I know it's a big number... and my roundness will still not make much of a noticeable difference... but it's my goal til March.. then I making one for June. ~~~~ may have to back track afterwards just a tiny bit.. booze and food on a cruise.. ~burp

I know Becks...I'm still sportin the same poundage as last year, despite my promises to myself that I will start Nov. 1, Dec. 1, Jan 1....My issue is crisis eating. If there is something bad going on, I'm going to eat (and drink.)You know how you always wish that this year will be better, then something happens to throw you into a tailspin. Plus, I just love food, damnitall! Protein does fill me up, and helps with the workouts by getting your metabolism going. I looked on the calendar, and we have 6 weeks left. At this point, I'm going to try to at least get into the shorts I bought that are too tight right now.
Going to the gym has never worked for me. Luckily we have weights at home so I will work with those, my ab ball, and walk every day. If I do this every day, it has to help more than if I don't.

omg... six weeks!?!?! ~~ kinda crazy isn't it? Just as the polar bear frozen tundra from the North comes to bite us in the arse..lol We are so darn lucky to get out of this in about 6 weeks to feel the warmth for a good week. Getting so excited... REDNECK PARADISE!!!! My problem is I live in a small lil town that doesn't have sidewalks... and very dangerous curvy roads that ppl fly through... so it's hard to walk on these roads without having to stop and look to make sure I'm not gonna get hit.. or I'd def would be doing the same thing... as it worked for me well back in 1999 when I lived near sidewalks. I have the ab stability ball too... kinda collects dust in my living room.. but ugghh.. would to start using it. I've been doing so good.. very proud of myself. The gym (Planet Fitness) cost 20 bucks a month for G and I... 20 mins away sadly... but at least it's a place to go and get warm, and work up a sweat. Yesterday, my boss/friend met up there with G and I and introduced us to the back part of the facility where they have a cardio/weight training circuit. Well.. I got through it without blowing my knees out..lol but what a workout.. best one in a long while. G and I treated ourselves afterwards to a matinee movie as the last movie he saw in the theaters was Shrek the Third with my mom. We went to see Django: Unchained.... very intense!! I highly recommend seeing this movie.. Tarantino deserved that golden globe.. and the soundtrack is badass... Jamie Fox.. hell yea Anyway... getting off topic lol. No matter what.. for me the cruise is just a small goal date of dropping 20lbs to start.. by June will be another 20... maybe even more :)

20 bucks a month for both you and G? Fantastic!!! Ours around here are at least double. I can go to the Y for 10 bucks a day for when the kids have art or golf during the week. Yah, I live in the stiks so if I get hit on the road, there are 6 foot ditches from the farmers guaranteed I will not be seen again! Try to bring a dog and of course my phone. Takes me 1.5 hours to walk 4 square miles. Not real pleasant when the wind whips thru the flat farm fields. Want to see Django...I think the world of Jamie Fox and Tarantino...have you ever seen Tarantino's film 'After Hours' (older)? Off the hook weird but funny as hell!

I can't believe there isn't one of these Planet Fitness's out near you... they are all over the US... and should be the same rate, or at least I thought. lol @ the farmer's ditches... same here... we rent a small place (cheaper than the city because it's out of the way) but we love it over here... just hate there's not sidewalks... got the farmer's market right up the road on Weds... plus a dairy farm... then there's a Lama breeder, or another name for the one's that spit on ya (can't think of their breed name right now).. about a mile away... and the rest of the area is corn fields. I wouldn't be able to make it 5 mins out in this freezing cold right now.. ugghh. No.. I never saw 'After Hours'.. thanks for the heads up... will have to look for it :)

I've been eating less than a bird and starving myself for last two weeks and doing cardio.. and haven't lost much. So just today, I added an hour of weight training on the machines with the hour of cardio.. and I'm sore and stiff, and walking around like an old lady now..lol C'mon metabolism.. I know you are in there somewhere.. maybe burried but still in there..lol. NOT into buying any get fit quick programs... too stubborn and rather fight the right way or not at all... juss sayin ; )
