I have never been more PROUD to be KID ROCK fan than I am NOW! He is true to his word - says what he means and means what he says! Due to his low ticket prices, I am going to three of his concerts this summer, June 29th in Holmdel NJ, July 6th in Scranton PA, and July 9th in Camden NJ. I live outside of Philadelphia and this morning on our local radio station 93.3 WMMR morning show "Steve and Preston" were talking about all the upcoming concerts this summer. I was outside of my work waiting to see if they would mention him.

Kid Rock is a scalper.
The 42-year-old Grammy winner, who is launching a summer tour where most tickets are priced at $20, said he's scalping about 1,000 tickets from each show to make up for the cheaper regular price.
"I'm in the scalping business, but you know what? We told everyone.

Ya know.... I've gone to see so many Kid Rock shows that one would question.. why? Yet, I still get the same feeling inside. It's that pit of my stomach, butterflies, like a fat kid in a candy store, a kid that wakes up on Christmas morning to find that Santa left a whole bunch of toys, it's like releasing all this anxiety has been built-up, or some kinda adrenaline rush as if I could run a marathon... and it's better than any drug out there..lol It's like from the scene in the movie Tommy Boy.. "build the lil model airplane says the crazy glue sniffer"... cept I ain't sniffing any glue here..lol And yet, I've tried to go to other artist's shows.. I won't name them, but maaaan! I still don't get that crazy, excited, happy feeling like I do when I'm at a Kid Rock and Twisted Brown Trucker show. It's f'n righteous dude !!
Which brings me to my point....
I must be jonesing for a show... I woke up with not one... but two dreams from tonight that were associated with something Kid Rock. 1)was cruise related... and the other was at Hershey, PA.. We didn't have any funds to get tickets.. but decided to go anyway to hang out by the cars and listen to the show.. but my dream led the way for us to find a spot in the grass area above the seats (which Hershey don't have.. and Pine Knob does..lol).. but we some how manage to find a way in. The silly part of it was I brought my brother... who's hates my addiction for Kid Rock's music and shows... but then Dave Mustang came out which he wasn't listed on the bill... but my brother went ape shit and the dream ended..lol Way to go bro.. thanks for messing that dream up..haha
Anyway.. what a night! I woke my poor husband up.. and now he's up with me having coffee this early morn... just as excited.. and jonesing for a show. And it's too early in the morning to put on and blast Chickens in the Pen and not get the neighbor pissed.. so we mellowed out with a nice wake n bake and coffee with thoughts geared to our next Kid Rock show and smiles on our faces :)~

Something about Kid Rock's
Something about Kid Rock's music just gets under your skin. My husband was not a Kid Rock fan, and occasionally still gives me shit about my obscesson with his music, but when he saw Kid Rock at Comerica Park in Detroit he had to admit that it was one of the best concerts of his life. He has seen so many concerts - Bob Seger, AC/DC, World Series of Rock, but Detroit held something special! I swear, I have a Kid Rock song playing in brain when I go to bed and when I wake up. We are going to Toledo in March because I just could not wait until Summer to see Bob again!

It looks like there will be seven restaurants represented in the arena but as far as eat in, didn't sound very good. They have everything from hamburgers, Italian, pizza and Italian, sushi and Asian food. I like sushi but from an arena, I don't think so. I'm still looking around the arena. Let me know what kinda food y'all like.

I will double check my tickets but I think they say 9. I'm staying at the Hyatt regency so I'll check out what restaurants are around there and double check the time on my tickets. I live about 5 hrs away so I'm going to try and get there earlier and get my stuff checked into my room.i will get back to you on the restaurant .

My son is determined he's gonna get me backstage cause he thinks he's a king. He went to all these big clubs where the stars go and they stopped him at the door and he just said hey man, I'm the owner of the club right down the street and just wanna check the place out and they let him in club after club. I told him , you little shit, your gonna get yourself in trouble and he texts me a picture of him and screech from saved by the bell. I told him, oh your are just so lucky.lol like its screech turned porn. Lol. Anyway hopefully he will get out of that king syndrome, I hope. He's the one that will be coming with me and I guess his friend will run the studio while he's gone.

Where ya staying? We will be 0.4 miles from the Brok. Like to meet ya and throw a few back or just have dinner. I'm always early and he's always late and the first to leave. Luckily I don't have to carry him, but damn near. I had a chance to meet Etie brockel, spelling , and the new bohemians and Paul Simon her hubby and he was tired and wanted to leave early and he already knew the drummer so it wasn't a big deal to him but I really wanted to meet Paul. Winstar I thought I would never get him to the car and it was my first trip in my challenger and I had to drive back to the hotel one of the times which was about 40miles and the other time I drove all the way back home to Tx and didn't get to bed until 5 am but it's all good. Send me a shout out before or when you get there and we will meet up. I would so love to meet everyone on the cruise but that ain't happening. Not this year at least.

Kid Rock and an absolute must is the only thing that can get me to Tulsa,.(Lot of good bands do Tulsa that I miss out on)My nieace and me will drive in and than drive out after the show,.I live about two hours away,.BTW my tickets are will call and my recipt has no starte time so I have no ideal what time the concerrts sceduled to statrt Im thinking we will show up at the bok about 7evish,.so how about dinner around five,...fined a place and its on,.perferanly close to the bok,..or OKC would be even better,..I love all kinds of food

Lol. I'm jonesing for my next too but I already got my hotel room and even though my seats suck, I'll be there and have a f...ing blast. Oh yeah, and my son and his wife are going to but I told them they would have to get their own room.lol. Ahh a slow day at work. I have to wait until February but its coming fast. All that excitement and I will be so sore from dancing that I can barely move the next day but it will be well worth it. I think this will be like my 8th concert, I think. No 7th. He'll I don't remember but I know it's 7or 8. Anyway, I try not to miss a concert when he comes to town or even close, yes I'm driving to Tulsa Oklahoma . Been to Thackerville twice at Winstar and you bet your sweet ass I'm signing up for VIP at the casino next time. The lady who was giving the VIP bracelets out wouldn't even take 200 for one. What the hell is wrong with that woman? Anyway, I know it wasn't right but I had to give it a shot with my husband saying you go honey, I'll be waiting right here for ya. Awwh ! Now that's love. Never been to Tulsa except once to doing an antique show at the convention center with my ex mother in law who was inlaw then. Been to chickashay, Norman, Rush Springs for watermelon festival and my ex's grandfather was mayor. Lol Podunk town. Oh and Oklahoma City. Not really my cup of tea, I prefer the big D-Dallas . Our buddies in State College wanted to do the Toledo show.. asked if we were into road trippin... but we can't with the cruise so close... we are waiting for the next set of dates to come up.. hoping to see a show near us come up for late Spring/Summer.... or maybe we will have enough to come the the D for a Summer show.. who knows by then.

I got tickets yesterday for a Miranda Lambert concert next month, I really like her music, but wasn't the same kind of nervous excitement buying the tixs yesterday :/ Man does it pay to be a fanclub member when it comes to getting good seats, I couldn't even pull floor seats, that was with the Breslin Center venue presale. Oh well, I got somethin cool to look froward too..can't wait till March, the cruise & Toledo show!!!

From the nervousness of getting my laptop, seating chart, and credit card ready (if necessary) to vie for tickets in the presale, to picking out my best Kid Rock tee shirt, black pants, comfortable yet hopefully semi-sexy shoes and getting my hair done for the show, to waiting waiting waiting for KR and the TBT's to hit the stage...and then the magic starts, and I'm lost in a party to end all parties--EVERY TIME!!
