I honestly feel like it takes away what each song has to offer and strips it. I really do like Let's Ride, Rebel Soul, Midnight Ferry, & The Mirror off the latest. For the next CD (post recovery from world tour), what I would like to see is straight Bob seen, experienced, and felt lyrics and music with TBT, plus Detroit sound. Give the cowriters/accompanying musicians a break for a minute, ASCAP has them covered.
Like to hear what is feels like to be in your forties, bad-assed and reformed (come on admit it.....), with the same band that supports you every nite, nite after nite. What did you all see, what did you all feel, and how do you put that in music so that we can ride with you? No gaudy tricks, no marketing whiz, just a plain old "this is what the experience was like" CD.
You are a very talented man, and I'm sure it's tempting to default, but, Bob if you stick with this, write what you feel, and put it to music after this tour, it will be REAL. Might not sell millons, but since when has Dylan done that, if you get my drift. And I for one, and I think, many many more will appreciate you made that effort, and keep it in their "classics" file forever more....

I know now it was their job, but how sweet. Oh, don’t get me started on massages…I’ve experienced great healing from them and I love to give as much as I love to receive. Yum!!!
