He's too smart and cocky not to.

Why do you write here then west coast girl. I'm pretty sure, almost certain, Bob pops in and reads posts and certain he definitely reads songs. How long have you been on here?
Westcoastgirl's picture

Same reply as to BlueS: Yes I get your point; I was a sick and being a grumpy brat:)...that is my story and I'm sticking to it:)
Westcoastgirl's picture

I'm pretty sure he, nor his crew, reads past one sentence.

Not true, hun. They do pay attention and read, Bob too. His fan base is his bread and butter. But, they are busy, and I am sure it's not a daily event. If there is one thing I admire about Bob, it's that he makes a point to know and understand his fan base....and it's paid off mightily, as it should.

New Year's Eve was awesome. Really danced my ass off. Saw two girl fights and they weren't that entertaining. From now on, if you're going to fight during Bob's show, at least get naked first. I'm sure the band would rather have just some rockin fun. Don't bum rush the stage. Get there early and find your spot...don't leave unless you have Betty taking care of your ass. She was a true peach. If you see this...love ya and see you soon. TB

I'm curious, if Kid reads any of his post replies; does he read the beginning to end or end to beginning; or any at all?
Westcoastgirl's picture

Noone is addressing the video Kid talks about in his post: "Americans". As Kid points out in his post, Sean Penn and him were making "light of" this kind of idiots words. I'm not sure I agree with that part, I think Kid got screwed here. Ok, agree to disagree and move along, but to be punked by this lame ass Commie...ouch! Sean Penn supports dictators and bashes capitalism, yet made millions, and continues to do so, off capitalism. If I had Kid's back in this video I would have insisted on more compromise by the Penn - maybe make him go to a Tea Party Rally (Kid went to gay wedding) and take him out to a gun range...you know this guy has armed body guards! And, I'm pretty sure Penn doesn't drive a Prius, if he does, well yay for him and I hope you are not hit as hard as I was in my BMW that is more solid and has hell of more safety features that saved our lives! I don't like sell outs and I really don't like hypocrites. Just saying.

But ya, this guy, who wrote a stupid critcal review of you- whatever his name is- he's the REAL asshole/enemy...sigh...maybe you'll do a video with him next year and go off into the sunset holding hands...come on!!! Man up!!!

Noticed that the tour dates only go through August . Does that mean we will see you in Dallas in Sept? September, remember ? I always wondered what significant event happened in Sept for you because you always uses it in your songs when you could use November or December per say.
rjl1969's picture

Ohhh, what fun entertaining myself. Yep.
rjl1969's picture

Bobby Booshay, I feel the sign thingy getting smaller. Don't make Webcrew take away your picture. Listen to mama, that Becky Vandicort, well, she's the she devil. I even think she eats .... Sshhh....waffles.

I, too, admire Mr. Ritchie’s ‘strength, endurance, and work ethic.’ I agree; I feel marketed to…for Mr. Ritchie’s legendary artistry. “If it looks good, you’ll see it. If it sounds good, you’ll hear it. If it’s marketed right, you’ll buy it. But…if it’s real, you’ll feel it.” (Kid Rock). His website looked good, so I clicked. It sounded good as I watched videos, streamed Born Free often, and requested Kid Rock’s music whenever given the opportunity. It was marketed right so I could buy it. I did all the aforementioned because it is real…and I feel it. I have to agree with ACEMAN88; it is a phenomenally tough call because each album holds its own creative genius, but they all led to Rebel Soul. And in my opinion - beginning to end and the journey in between - Rebel Soul is brilliant artistry…the original lyrics with a FANTASTIC “Bobby” spin…his choice of melody notes for each original song…his self-production of the instruments, backing vocals, and sounds of his music. There’s a lot going on and that is why we fans feel it. I think Mr. Ritchie’s pocketbook and career are doing just fine so I believe he cares what reporters post if it intimates to speak for his fans. He loves what he does; he appreciates and thanks his fans. His long, honored, successful career demonstrates he is a multi-talented artist who cares about his fans. His business acumen and philanthropy, publicized and unpublicized, further disprove belief in Mr. Ritchie’s solely monetary motivations. Finally, Kid Rock has long been and continues to be Rock N Roll Jesus. No doubt. However, is that a higher standard, of which I am unaware, than that held of Jesus of Galilee? He, too, wasn’t respected by ALL, accepted by society in FULL, nor admired by critics, music or otherwise. In fact, He still isn’t. But both of them believe in God, love, and helping their neighbors; if you can’t see their hearts…

You are an amazing amazing amazing artist and this douche bag is just jealous that they do not have the talent that you do! Keep on Rockin in the free world and can't wait to see you kick off in KC and I will also see you in Springfield, MO!
kidrocket99's picture

I ran out of my Communion money recently so I haven't even been able to go out and but the new CD. I'll most likely go and buy it when it gets to be used at a record outlet. And Kid Rock thinks he's got problems! ha,ha,ha! I wish I had a goofy guy named Von Berg write anything about me. I'll take the good with the bad anyday. It's better than nothing! They do say that bad press sells, just as much, if not more, than good press. It's all about controversy.
ColdnEmpty's picture

I got one for ya kid. Rebel soul still sucks! Its like one of those freak things, hit it every couple weeks things. Am I the only one on my side? Apparently not...
Aceman88's picture

The "Rebel Soul" Album Is Best Kid Rock Album To date in My Opinion.
Angel aka KRA's picture

Star Shawna whatever........ If you think Bob only cares when it affects his Pocketbook, Then you obviously dont have a fuckin clue who the man is... What he cares about is the fucktard critic obviously was a liberal Obama supporter and used his platform of critiquing a concert to belittle Kid Rock because he supported Romney.. What part of that did you not get.... Yes everyone is entitled to an opinion!!!!!! Its my opinion that you are BRAINDEAD...ugh
starschatter's picture

feel your Brain Dead, you pick and choose out of my comments to only "attack" me -- your no better than the reporter your attacking because of an article he wrote about "Bob" -- get a LIFE
bluesuedeshoe's picture

Honestly, Angel, I didn't get that political connection the same way you interpreted it. And Shawna is entitled to express her opinion here, she's paid for the privilege, and expresses it well, whether I agree with it or not. I appreciate that she brings a different point of view than the norm.
KRSVal's picture

Blue, I did see what Angel saw with the political connection in the comment..that is why I added the reply about the press and its abuse of power.. I do not know Star personally, and yes she does bring a different point of view--I just have to wonder why so many of her posts sound like 'shit-starting' is all.
bluesuedeshoe's picture

Val, that little critic is an idiot, lol. Just concerned that by Bob responding the way he did, it sets him up for other idiot critics to take a shot at him. Not surprised he mentioned Romney, every other article done on Bob in the last year has, and I am sure we will continue to see it mentioned in the future. Part of the price of standing up for his political belief (which is fine). Shawna is critical and speaks her truth. Not surprised folks see it as shit starting, been living with that title here for years, LOL! Won't stop me from speaking my mind and I sure hope it doesn't stop her.
KRSVal's picture

OK-Agreed ;)
bluesuedeshoe's picture

Appreciated much, :)!
starschatter's picture

There are always two sides to a coin. Everyone is entitled to an opinion, just because you don't agree is no reason to attack. People don't respect others views in this society. Although I too am a Fan-- I can critize and I have my rights to my opinion- Sorry Congregation- as I've fore-mentioned not everyting Kid does is considered respectable by ALL, excepted by society in FULL, and or admired by Music Critics. Kid really does not give a rats ass what reporters post, only when he feels it will hurt his pocket book, its his career afterall. I love his voice, most of his music, and like most over 40 women with a lil bit over 150 lbs on their frame- feel marketed but still admire Kid's strength, endurance, and work ethic. His song writing? I find he copies quite a bit from other songs, yet he still can push out "new' written stuff and put his "Bobby" spin on it to make it GOOD, and there is nothing like the hipe of a LIVE Concert Stag show, especially when your front row!!.

As a Kid Rock Congregation member, I would like to nominate this A-hole miserable prick critic to the Congregations, "Hall of Crap". It's pretty easy to see, the only way this guy is gonna get attention is by talking crap about someone, who is talented enough to already have it. I vote this A-hole for the Congregations, "Hall of Crap" So Bobbie can we start a Congregations, "Hall of Crap"? Can we please, pretty please?

Look, DETROIT: Detroit represents something to America that was so relevant to creating a middle class. Between 1900 and 1930, Detroit experienced nearly unparalleled growth for a large city, growing six-fold from a population of 305,000 to 1,837,000. There was no secret formula behind this growth. It was fueled by the concentration around Detroit of the automobile industry, which by 1929 was the largest industry in the U.S. (Davis [1988, p. ix]). The Automobile Industry turned this country into a country that sustained working class- middle class not working class poverty. As the Cold War unfolded in the decade and a half after World War II, the United States experienced phenomenal economic growth. The war brought the return of prosperity, and in the postwar period the United States consolidated its position as the world's richest country. Gross national product, a measure of all goods and services produced in the United States, jumped from about $200 thousand-million in 1940 to $300 thousand-million in 1950 to more than $500 thousand-million in 1960. More and more Americans now considered themselves part of the middle class. The growth had different sources. The automobile industry was partially responsible, as the number of automobiles produced annually quadrupled between 1946 and 1955. A housing boom, stimulated in part by easily affordable mortgages for returning servicemen, fueled the expansion. The rise in defense spending as the Cold War escalated also played a part. DONT YOU THINK we need more cities like Detroit rather than Palm Beach ? PALM BEACH: Palm Beach was established as a resort by Henry Morrison Flagler,[3] a founder of Standard Oil, who made the Atlantic coast barrier island accessible via his Florida East Coast Railway. The nucleus of the community was established by Flagler's two luxury resort hotels, the Royal Poinciana Hotel and The Breakers Hotel. West Palm Beach was built across Lake Worth as a service town and has become a major city in it
