Presale, Ticketron, specific upgrade required....help TOPSPIN
    bluesuedeshoe says (27 Dec '12)

To those of you still deciding how to handle the transition from Artist Arena' Kid Rock community/congregation to the new Topspin Rebel Soul's presale version followed by a new format fan club....please be aware of the following clause below. This information caused me to upgrade to a Deluxe membership with Rebel Soul, as I need instant Ticketmaster access when presale starts.

Think a lot of you might be in the same situation, so check carefully, as those old $10 memberships are not going to do it for you in the thick of a presale.

If you have questions, ask them here, so they all can be resolved in one spot by TopSpin, K. The free memebership offered is surely kind but if you cannot get the seats you want in a limited window.....

    Clause below, as is repsonserationale.

How come my only choice is the Deluxe Membership level for access to presales through Ticketmaster?

Ticketmaster can only support one membership type through their bundled presale process. We chose the Deluxe Edition since it is the most popular membership with current members. We'll continue to offer the online-only Standard Edition through KidRock.com. The Standard Edition will still grant members with access to presales, but can not grant instant access on Ticketmaster venue presales. New members who sign up for the Standard or Deluxe Edition memberships on KidRock.com will receive Ticketmaster presale codes for scheduled presales on a weekly basis. So, if you sign up for a membership the week of December 3rd, you'll be eligible to receive your first Ticketmaster code the following week, for any presales scheduled after December 10th.

Dazed and Confused...

I didn't do the official transfer yet, at all. I paid a 10 dollar membership back in Oct for a new year here... but when the lil code came out with the Tulsa presale email to transfer over to the new site, I didn't do it because I didn't see a show I could go to and I saw that the actual Rebel Soldiers site wouldn't be up and running until the end of Jan. I guess I'll do it after the new year.

Yep, I transfered over fine, just without the needed access because I had the dumb $10 membership. Didn't want to wait to see if it worked when my presale came up, so bit bullet and went to full Rebel Soul. Worth the comfort level for presale. Also consulted with TopSpin, and they were great.

So you never transferred over to Rebel Soldier back in Nov?
The membership transfer has been a little confusing & the presales codes, with so many not getting the emails...I was surprised when mine went so smoothly lol. Good luck to you getting tickets when your turn comes :)

Margo, the issue with me is that I had the old discount membership, not the standard. So apparently those don't carry over to give instant access to Ticketron, which due to the number of shows here in NYC and New England, and the huge number of folks who want seats, you really need. Glad to hear the presale worked well for you. Think our leg will be in the summer. Wish me luck, lol!

I have the standard membership, which I transferred over to Rebel Soldiers free membership back in Nov. & I was able to purchase a Ticketmaster presale with no problems, received both email codes that they sent out. I think people who didn't transfer back in Nov & who join Rebel Soldiers now & want to get a TM presale have a lag time in receiving codes, that's how I understood it anyway. ?

I'm so bored.. wish my next class would start already instead of looking at Kid Rock shows I can't get to..lol. I guess I'll be buying a delux when the tour comes this way.
