Why make presales in the middle of the workday??
    Diana R says (18 Dec '12)

Seriously?! I was SO HAPPY to get my email this morning about the presale tomorrow for Toledo, OH (among other venues) but really?? 10 am??? That is right in the middle of the morning work shift. I remember how fast Comerica sold out and The Huntington Arena is much smaller. Why can't a presale be held after regular work hours? I will be in surgery (veterinary technician) at 10am Michigan time and don't even have acccess to a computer or cell phone. I remember when Comerica went on presale I had to beg my bosses for a late lunch (the sale was at 3pm I think we only got 1 or 2 days notice) and used an entire hour trying to get tickets. Luckily I got them. I guess this time I will just have to pay more to Ticketmaster and buy the tickets directly through them when they go on public sale. Or, I just wait for a Summer party in Detroit?!

Also hear there might be a catwalk set up on this tour, so account for that when you look at your seats. If it's true, some of you further back might be able to reach out and touch someone if he's on it.

I am always joking with my coworkers about someday being close enough to see belly button sweat on those abs! LOL. Maybe March will be my time..............I am bringing my camera :)

Ticketmaster changed the layout for Huntington Center show check it out:
http://www.ticketmaster.com/event/0800499191B56BC2?artistid=742673&majorcatid=10001&minorcatid=1

From yesterdays seat #s starting with #1 on the right if you're facing stage, so Diana you should have a good spot with the catwalk just to your left.

@diana. Yea I saw. A map too but I seen a little section right in front of the stage with no number and I think that is the pit area? I'm not too sure but my dream one day is to find out how to get right up front row!! I was at Huntington center last time he came and I will be about in the same spot as the. What are great seats. I guess if you can see him sweating its all good! Have a blast and thanks for getting back to me.

@ Samnash3. I am hoping that Huntington will be set up like the map that was on the Ticketmaster website when we ordered tickets. I figured it was there so that we could see where seats were when ordering? If you are in section one, then you are in the section ahead of me. These look like great seats. I am just so excited. I have never been on the floor at a Kid Rock concert. Have been only in lower deck at Comerica and Bobby looked about 1" tall from those seats. Thank god for the big screens, but I would never trade that concert at Comerica in Aug. 2011. It was the BEST night of my life :)

samnash3's picture

How do you know for sure how the set up will be at the Huntington center? I have sec 1 but not sure how close that will be!

Daam ! Our buddies in State College, Pa had just asked to get together and do a road trip to Toledo for that show.. well actually, any of the ones in Ohio but argghhh.. we just can't.. would of been cool to rock the show with you all. Congrats on the front rows : )

Margo C's picture

Well shit! At least we know where we are both at, shouldn't be too difficult to find each other:)

Diana R's picture

Shit, shit, shit...........I am in Section 4, NOT 5, still seats 12, 13.14! I was trying to purchase tickets for section 5 but that is when the website disconnected when I was in the payment screen and I had to start over again. I am just to the right of section5 and close to the front. Still very excited. Hopefully will still see Margo and RSMS :) I was so excited to get the tickets I didn't notice that they had switched sections on me until I got home and checked the confirmation on my email.

OMG-Ladies are you all gonna have a blast and all in the same row-Look out Toledo!!!!!!

lol it should be a fun time, it'll be nice to finally meet you. I had the same experience as you with the codes, no problems at all. I have been to the Huntington Center twice to see KR. I really like it, it's small & IF they have a catwalk like in past concerts & they don't move section 5 we should be dead center at the end of catwalk. Also if you want to get a hotel they have one that's connected to the Huntington Center, super easy, you park in the parking structure check into the hotel room, have a few drinks before the concert, ya walk through a skywalk & boom you are there! I booked mine, $109 bucks.

Margo and RSMS.......not sure if it will be safe for our husbands that night with all of us in the same row! LOL. My purchase was seamless. All codes/passwords worked fine. And, I had already set up an account with Ticketmaster prior to the presale. Got the email a couple of days ago with the Rebel Soldiers/KRC password. I was nervous because so many had said it wasn't working well for them. WHEW!! I have never been to Huntington but everyone I work with that has been to concerts say there are not any bad seats. It is a much smaller venue than Comerica, something like only 8,000 seats instead of 40,000. YAY!!

Well geez ppl you don't hear me complaining...i have to tell the hotel front desk to give me a wake up call @ about 9:45am...LOL!!! Just messing with ya! Figure this out. Normally i work nights and 10:00 am is when i get good and asleep on a normal basis. But for typical ticket sales i either set my alarm or wait to go to sleep to nab a ticket for a show. I go in grouchy that night because i lost 2 hours of sleep or because i went to bed late.

Right now i am sitting on a total of 3 passwords for ticket sales. It is crazy. Somehow i think Kid Rock intends to sell tickets to his shows. It blows my mind ppl saying i didn't get a password. They have all been sent to me promptly without problems. EVEN before i converted my membership over to the new Rebel Soldiers. I guess there are probably some glitches...but i can't complain on my end @ all. Good luck to y'all getting tickets. If i knew ya's well enough i would probably buy them for ya and have you pay me back. But i also know the purchasers has to show up with id and credit card so that ain't happening....AGAIN good luck folks...may you get some kick ass tickets for the show of your desire!

I'm a stay at home Mom, but it's gonna be hard for me too, making it home by 10. Our school district has a delayed start one Wed. every month, this Wed is one of them :/ At least they seem to be giving more notice for presales times then they have in the past. Is there any way you can trade surgery times with a fellow coworker?
