Kimberly.... if Kid Rock sees that I'm sure he will cause for his music to inspire your son that way surely would have to be an honor for Kid Rock...you made cry that is the sweetest thing I've ever heard

Wow Kid looks hot! He looks just like this guy "Ronny" I dated many years ago when I was 17 we used to go water skiing at Rosevelt Lake in Arizona during summer vacation drink & smoke and soak up the sun. OMG those were such fun days goes right with Sweet Home Alabama!

Probably a ridiculous place to ask a ridiculous question but no guts no glory, so I am posting it here in the hopes someone of relevance sees it. Long story short: My oldest son introduced us to Kid Rock's music and we became enthusiasts. He was killed ten years ago. While making funeral arrangements his little brother, then 12 yo, said the music for the ceremony should be Kid Rock. He was completely correct, and so it was. As the funeral procession pulled into our rural WI Catholic cemetery a "pimped out" truck w/ a bed full of Rockford Fosgates blasted the "Devil Without a Cause" CD. Following the burial my brother took my hand, led me away from the grave, and began dancing w/ me to "Only God Knows Why". We were joined by my younger son and 11 other bros and sis. I am sure the locals thought we were crazy, but for me was a poignant show of the love and support of our family. We later had a line from that song engraved on my son's headstone. Family road trips and parties now start with that song to get the crying done and out of the way, and then ensue with "Cowboy" and "Bawitdaba" and laughter and libations! My younger son called me from college to let me know Kid Rock would be in concert in Chicago, and wanted me to attend with him in celebration of his own birthday and that of his deceased brother's two weeks earlier. I am overwhelmed at the thought of what this concert will mean to us. And so my question: What is the possiblity of arranging for my son to meet Kid Rock in person in Chicago? Not to hang out, not to be his best friend, not to ooh and aaah, but all by himself just to shake Kid Rock's hand. Because Kid Rock has not accompanied him on this journey, but Kid Rock's music most certainly has. I know this is most probably an act of futility, and I apologize for the public display of mushiness, but this is the only way I could possibly conceive to try to get this message out, so wth, here goes...

Kim, I'm a huge fan of Eminem, but Kid is more of the face of Detroit with all that he has done with and for the City of Detroit and state of Michigan. I think all of Kids fans would and will do whatever it takes to see him in concert. I now that the 8 that I've been to- I've never been disappointed :) Rock On!

WOW! traceyg......i love kid rock as much as anyone....but im never disappointed to see eminem!! lol! unfortunately, i wasnt able to watch the superbowl....i had to work to make up for that limo, overnighter at the Hyatt, extra tickets and the party'n for the Kid Rock Concert!! lol! it was a fair trade....id gladly do it again and prolly will the next time he comes to Wichita!! (and do it all in the frigid cold too and youll never hear me bitch!!!)

When I saw the Chrysler commercial during the Super Bowl I was disappointed that it was Eminem that stepped out of the car and not you. Kid Rock is the face of Detroit and the state of Michigan. What were the ad exec's thinking?? I purchased some clothing from MID for my husband (firefighter here in WI) and now I have about 10 other guys from the station asking me to order gear for them. Im thinking you should run for a Michigan office ;)

On the way home from work Sunday when the Pack made their 2nd touchdown started singing " God Bless Green Bay". Always listen to Kid Rock on the road and had to sneak you in somewhere. " The Bears are just a bitch, Tampa's just a bother, the Steeler's are like watchin' dead flowers grow...." the game didn't end up that way but it was fun singing it.
