My son and his girlfriend are big fans of Kid Rock. We are going to his concert in Evansville, In. on April 1st, 2013. He wants to find a way to go on stage, in front of everyone and purpose to her. RJ, Forever grateful for that once in a lifetime opportunity... not sure I'll ever lose the feeling of being shock by it all.... haven't been right since..lol.
I received far more than just that one night of fun as far as my thoughts are concerned... helped me to reflect on the things that I can not change (job loss) and has given me hope for a brighter future :) I have taken along the kindness that he has shown and made it apart of my going forward in life.
I'll never forget the emotions that just poured out of me when I saw them perform Rock On that night.. talk about feeling every note and lyric of that song. .
What I am saying is don't ever lose sight of hope for something... if what you want is to meet him, do believe that it happens and keep supporting the music and perhaps one day your dream will come true.

Tammy, the search facility does not work accurately. Trust, it comes up a lot. That said, I wish you luck, and will repeat from prior thread. Think the best chance is through radio sponsored meet and greets or the VIP MEET and GREET programs offered in casinos. NOT the casino sponsored VP area drink tables, you will find sometimes 3 levels of security ropes in those deals. You might not even be able to see him IF he shows up. All best...

Hey, Ajay, if you can find time take the NCLEX prep test for your boards or buy used books online and study while your in the bathroom if ya have to. I took the course and aced my boards 17 , almost 18 yrs ago now. It will change your life so just hang in there buddy, you'll do fine. Your gonna need some of that sarcasm in nursing. They eat their young when a newbie comes in unless you find a really nice one willing to teach. You look back on it all and laugh when your making that good money which will not be right away unless you go straight to the hospital setting to work. An internship helps get you in the door but you usually have to be in it before you take boards and graduate or its hard to get in. The ICUs pay well and if you can work there, you can work anywhere. But i am sure he already does that with plenty of ppl and most are probably of his entourage or famous or something other then are regular chick like me.
And yeah Beck i am finishing a hybrid online ADN school. It is in it's 3rd year of inception. So we are still guinea pigs so to speak. Let me tell you it has been one helluva haul and i have worked my ass. Just tonight i cussed the hell out of the computer taking what is called a practice ATI. Many hours and not much life has been what my life has been like since the first week of January 2012. But the end is in sight. I take an ATI proctored this week, get pinned Saturday afternoon, and take my last ATI next week. Then i hear from an MSN prepared nurse about the areas i need to study and how long. THEN god willing i will take state boards and hopefully before mid February...I don't think i can study for any longer then that and hopefully they will tell me i need the minimum prep time which is 3 weeks...It is always more red tape. Then i got to set up to take boards after i do the study time and get green lighted. The test site has to give me a test date within a month of me contacting them.....I will be so glad when this is all over is all i can say...WITH a good end result of course so y'all need to pray for my crazy pissed off ass. LORD knows i have been...

Welcome Tammy, sure hope you can meet him one day... he's a great guy all around. Just reflecting onto our ages (and what they say) 'Life begins at 40'. I'm learning to embrace it, yet I am finding lots of struggle, aging parents, job stability, going back to college, which I believe Ajay's also in school for nursing..
