Anyone hear or see who won for voting in March Madness and what they won?
So the husband comes home and tells me to look at section D of our local newspaper (the entertainment section)... tells me there is an article that almost takes up a whole page with picture. It was actually from the New York Times Syndicate but Reading loves some Kid Rock so I can only see why they would feature it in our local here :)

I am hearing a lot of vintage
I am hearing a lot of vintage-inspired soul and rock and roll in this album....Lots of beat, lots of tambourine (J/K lol)..almost a Steppenwolf kinda thing going on until the geetars come on full blast in another direction....I second-guessed myself with the hip-hop thing, but Cucci is def the only song I hear coming close to that...and that is really rap-inspired-rock...
Yeahhhh boooyyy..can't wait ta hear it live and in person
The travel channel works just
The travel channel works just fine for me right now lol. My husband does some traveling through work, he went to Germany a couple summers ago & he said when he goes again for work he wants me to go :o Maybe someday....I gotta get over my fear of flying first, I'm flying for the first time in over 20 yrs for the cruise & I'm starting to get some anxiety.
Yes I agree the thought of Japanese folks rockin out to A.B.A. would be a funny sight to see, I agree, KR can pull it off :)
lol.. me neither Margo.. I
lol.. me neither Margo.. I mean If one day I'd happen to want to travel outside the US.. I'd love to see all the European countries, and maybe Ireland and Amsterdam, and visit Canada again, and in No way am I speaking for him, but the thought crossed my mind that his lyrics humbly define a proud toting, gun slingin', Chevy drivin' 'Merican made man in all his glory... so ya have to give thought to what exactly, hmmm let's say someone who lives in Japan could possibly like.. I mean Michael Jackson had gotten lots of love over there.... but correct me if I'm wrong but the visual of seeing an arena full of Japanese folks getting down to American Bad Ass.... makes me laugh a bit.... yet Bob can do anything... getting all the sleepy business folks up to their feet dancing around like it was prom night again at the Kennedy Honor's show back a good few years ago had me on my knees laughing... so the way I see it, he can get anybody up and boppin around.
That was a good article.
That was a good article.
I like how he described the new album " It's really confusing, so it's a perfect Kid Rock record." lol That's what I like about his music, it's all over the place when it comes to genres & sounds, but it makes for great music:)
That does suck for fans in other countries 'cause he's not keen on going outside the US...though it was pretty funny that he said 'I'm big in Kentucky, man. I'm cool.' " haha
Imma homebody myself, so if didn't have to go outside the US to make money I wouldn't either :/
What? No 'Live at Budukon'
What? No 'Live at Budukon' album? lol
Really feel for those folks
Really feel for those folks in Australia, New Zealand, and Asia.
"Rock is also contemplating some overseas dates, including offers from Australia and Japan, with some ambivalence
"I wouldn't say that I'm a homebody, but I'm a big fan of being close to home," said the singer, whose son, Robert Ritchie Jr., currently attends college in Tennessee and is launching his own music career. "I just feel like I have everything here in America. I get weird when I get out of the country. I don't know why what it is. I just feel goofy about it, man. I just feel a little nervous and on edge.
"I'm always messing with my label's international guy," Rock added. "He's like, 'You do great in all these places' and this and that. And I'm like, 'I'm big in Kentucky, man. I'm cool.' "
