Where I grew up, there were no rich people. No bankers, no rightwing titans ranting the poor were lazy and the government was taking all their hard-earned money. Some dads worked for the electric company, others sold insurance or held blue-collar jobs.
Just have to say... FRICKEN LOVE, LOVE, LOVE how Kid Rock presented the award tonight on the Billboard Music awards!!!!! That ROCKED and it was fricken awesome!!!!!! xoxoxoxoxox
I must have missed the email regarding moving my membership from the KRC to the new Rebel Soul fan site. I saw the updates today but can only login to here, the KRC. Is there a way to still make that transition? I want to be able to get presale tix for an upcoming show in Spokane, WA at the Northern Quest Casino?
lol... love music.... watching a special show that just got on for charity for the victims of Sandy, live from Madison Square Garden... just started... lots of GREAT artists. See ya later.. gonna go chill
I see them all the time. I think the owner of the company my husband works for who lives 2 houses down, plants a garden to feed them. They eat the melons every year. Lol
Speak of country city girl, I live on the lake about 45 min from the city and when I left for the store I saw a huge buck jumping the fence 2 houses down and on the way back, in the same spot, I saw momma and two stair step doe. Cool. I saw a red fox one day.
Ok, I thought someone would answer my question by now. I've gotta go to the store. Sorry, will pick up conversation later and see where it is and where it has gone. Chow!
I'll have a serving of the music w grit not the man. Throw some of that awesome band on the side and mmm mmm, what a dish. I think the drummer rocks. She's awesome and has been around every since I started going to concerts .
As you get older you have to slow your roll just a lil bit and to tell ya the truth, he's still rocking it too. We all grow up and I think it's Kid growing up but cant change the man or who or how he is. He's just Kid, not another mf quite like him!
Don't get me wrong, I love the rapp and rock. They kick ass and are some of my favorites. From the beginning when he was young before he was really known.
Id prolly think different if i was raised with it and im sure id prolly love it too but ijust ddint as a "cough" notherner haha. but i know alot of them that love country too. But i love kid rock cause he wasnt. He had grit and style all his own. But now he does .. i dunno. Im sad
What's good about his country is that it's not completely country. It seems as if he combines a little rock, blues, soul, and I almost thought I heard a little bluegrass. He mixes the old w the new so it's familiar like something we grew up with.
My step dad was chief of police in a small town that we could practically walk across and we used to put our cowboy hats on and go to the big dances in the middle of town. Had so much fun that it kinda made me like the music. Plus I spent a lot of time fishing and hunting w my auntie and uncle and that's all they listened to. I'd wake up hearing delta dawn.lol
i do like ome country, but i am kinda one sided.. i like his proir stuff cause i didnt like the country music then. Today i can chill whith some aldean but back then .. no
Course I grew up on both sides of the track, country- city girl. Could handle the big city but still ride a horse, fish and shoot a gun. Reminds me of hillbilly stomp and cruising over to the dewdrop inn.
I like who's gonna give ya some sugar tonight. Cocky, cowboy, blue jeans and rosaries, I love the guitar and band and singing in Jackson Mississippi - mwahh! I could go on all night.
