I’m a big fan and love the new Rebel Soul release. As a Detroiter now living in Nice, France, I love all things Detroit. I really like the “Detroit, Michigan”, track, but have to ask, why no mention of the Motor City Madman, Ted Nugent? He was also influential at his time in the D.
Perhaps this Q has been asked and answered, but I’ve not found anything.
Also, to Kid….any chance of you doing a tour in Europe? I think you have a solid following in the UK, Germany and France…all countries I travel to on business and hear you on the radio often.

KRLO,
KRLO,
Thanks for that, a good read. It was nice to read about the history of the song. It doesn't get to my Q however, which is why no mention of Ted Nugent. Maybe only Kid knows why...
Detroit was already firmly on the music map when Nugent was big, but seems to me he is as big as Bob Seger....I'm a fan of them both. In any case, great to see a track like this get airplay in Europe.
