I have heard of venues accepting photocopies of buyers credit card and drivers license along with a written consent. If your venue allows this method, also ask your friend to borrow actual card so it can be swiped in t paperless ticked aisle, once inside. Good Luck!!

Do you ppl really think it is just the scalpers? I am gonna help you out. Ticketmaster knows exactly what is going on. I got screwed on his show @ the Ryman. I had multiple browsers open to get a good seat. Well ticketmaster nixed my purchase. I got ahold of them they stated my computer showed multiple browsers. HENCE i must be a scalper so they kicked me outta of my great tickets. I wound up in the balcony, which is what was left. IF you watch ticketmaster you will see tickets filter in and out @ different points between the show date. I WOULD tell my secrets to scoring great tickets but i had to learn how to beat the system of scalpers and ticket sales. If i give it away i will lose my chance @ the seats i want. This go around i will try and get the seats i want by pre-sale i believe.
KID ROCK and many artists are trying to look out for the little man. INSTEAD of bitching to him we as fans should bitch to law enforcement and ticketmaster.....SCALPING is illegal. Just like d/l. It is alllowed to go on because nobody wants to tackle it. Plain and simple. I am guessing there must be kickbacks going on or it would be dealt with. They worry about busting drugs out of road cases yet they don't worry about honest ppl trying to buy a ticket fairly? GO FIGURE...it might require work and no glory of showing their big bust...But the honest music fan might actually not have to pay thousands of dollars for a ticket that @ face value is maybe no more then $200. Then bitch about ticketmaster fees added to your ticket...look that shit over too before you go rounds too. WHY the hell do i need to pay $20 bucks in fees on a ticket for face value? For some jack ass to sit on his ass and take my money and yours?
I believe it is alright for the proof when picking up your tickets. AND scalpers still bypass it. The key is to nail them @ it....and i doubt anyone outside of the fans gives a shit enough to do it.

AJAY, I totally agree. Ive always thought ticketmaster is paid off or invloved in the scam. I do see the way ticketmaster rations tickets... Purchasing tickets the minute they go on sale doesn't usually yield the better seats. I witnessed that yet again yesterday.... TicketMaster is the Pimp of scalpers... You are also correct in that know one is concerned enough to go after them.... In the end...the fans lose.

I just looked on EBAY at the Bham AL show... A scalper is asking $2,500 for 4 tickets on the 2nd row. The note says, "paperless tickets, Buyer will be escorted inside" You can't beat those fuckers... No matter how hard you try.

I would see if you can borrow your friend's credit card to take with you to the show. Paperless ticketing works with special scanners that scan the credit cards used at point of purchase. The tickets are under your name, right? So if yuo have your ID and your friend's credit card you should be okay.

The ticketmaster account is mine but since the credit card is his, then the tickets are in his name. Ticketmaster and the venue are absolutely blaming Kid Rock for this choice. It doens't make since to me that he would make a decision that would make things difficult for the fans. Also, this sucks becuase we will not have actual tickets from the show as souvenirs. I suppose my friend will now have to drivbe the 70 miles each way so that we can get into the show.

Bob and many other artist such as Eric Church are doing the paperless ticket option to try an help fans, not hurt them. It is the only option he has to keep scalpers from buying up all the good seats and then selling them for 10 times the price... I saw him in Atlanta in 2011. Same thing....Must show CC. He has discussed this publicly. He's just trying to help out the little guy.
