How was the rest of your day? How do you feel? Sorry, I'm fresh out of Van Gogh family history, but I really hope you are smiling. I forgot to mention that after I had discussed a 'good' recipe for brussel sprouts with the woman ahead of me in the grocery store a few days prior, Big G had me smiling as He had them show up on Thanksgiving :) I ate a few...and they were actually pretty good. Ummm...what else...hmmmm...oh, tried a nice pink toe nail polish yesterday. Nice change. Speaking of polish, now that I'm feeling better, I could stand to polish up my humor I guess. I have thankfully not had a zap in a few days and continue to dispel the fears of others by believing in how much better I'm feeling. My four paws walks have really been a major help, both for seeing her so happy, and the workout of cranking up the one right after the other steep hills. Today I saw a magpie on a horse's back leg but he must have been helping because the horse wasn't trying anything to shoo it away. Later, I saw an entire field of geese...it was amazing and I thought of you, but I don't know if they're in available season. I know deer season just closed which explained why I also saw lots of them on my drive in the fields seemingly without a care in the world. Are you yawning yet? I sure hope you're sneaking in a little fun and self-care time with all the things you're doing. Good parts of my day yesterday began with my early morning shower in preparation for Missoula going...the song which popped out of my heart and I started singing is a favorite ever since I remember MTV playing it eons ago and to this day is something precious I share with my sister, for she found it on CD and plays it in a phone message or live connection each year just for me. I just YouTubed it again and am renewed with hope. A 1977 unlikely duo still brings tears I don't yet bother to wipe away for their voices, harmonies, and song choices refresh my soul...Bing Crosby and David Bowie singing The Little Drummer Boy/Peace on Earth. I have no idea when it first aired on MTV (although I remember watching MTV's first ever video - wow?!?!), but it has been a deep part of my soul ever since. The other favorite part of my day is when your song popped out of my heart and I sang it before I realized what it was and I started dancing, too...it was Rebel Soul...how does your newest artistry, so many off your new album, just pop out like that already? I don't know, but I feel it...it is indelibly etched on my soul and in my heart...you continue to save them both, over and over again.
I don't know how He does it, or how He knows, or even sometimes why He cares, but last night He spelled it out for me, literally. Encouraging me, making me smile then as I rocked on even though I felt discouraged, lonely, and uninspired, for the final Wheel of Fortune puzzle was "Don't Give Up Hope." How did He know I was so close to doing just that? Aided by His words and my faith and dogged determination, my momentary prodigalness turned into a perspective of humble gratitude for all He has brought me through and to, providing a thankful and happier close to my evening and a good night's sleep full of His healing and grace. So I continue to rock on today, with all the little things I have to do to keep pressing on towards my goals, believing they are part of the process of the steps closer to my dreams. He reminded me He is doing His part, and with His loving words and presence, affirmed He sees me doing mine and encouraged me to continue. God is good. And all is well.

Pizza and relaxing with four paws was a good call. I'm about ready to head to bed, but I don't want to say good night just yet, although my yawns are quite convincing. My self-adjustment the other night was curtailed by my oh my goodness how fast time flies need instead for chocolate. Oh well, just a few more days. I believe I'll have a good weekend. The sky is clear tonight, with the stars twinkling and the almost full moon shining brightly in the big Montana sky. I love seeing the big full moon here. I smile at my every gaze.
