Excellent article, thanks for sharing krlo. This is definitely a must read that puts the song in perspective in understanding the history behind it and Kid Rock's vision in emulating it. With listening to the old song and reading this article, I now have more of an appreciation knowing the roots of the song, where it's come from and where it's gone.
