Just curious if anyone could help me answer a question? I am going to a sleeptrain ampitheatre to see Bobby and was thinking about buying premium RV parking. My question is, will they let us spend the night or kick us out. I really don't want to have to be sober for this event and thought my little camp trailer may do the trick. I have looked online and can't find the answer. If anyone knows I would love to hear from you.
Can't wait for the show!

To be honest, I think the haters have done more than anyone to keep me hanging around. Its like my online purpose is to be the Defender of all things Bob..lol So I say Fuck those ignorant assholes
Honestly, there are certain
Honestly, there are certain improprieties that are tough to get around, especially when repeated. He's Catholic, and money counts towards your higher reward. I would never have done what he did to be successful. Not many do. Still, I admire that effort, and that great live band.
OMHH Jocelyn! Imma gonna get
OMHH Jocelyn! Imma gonna get you (lovingly) for that! You're thinking Dark Ages on the Catholic thing, sweets. We are asked to give to those who are in need--KR does that...and I won't even get to tithing, lol. Paid Indulgences, once a practice in 1600's and perhaps beyond, is no longer something that is done--could be in some backward areas, but not condoned.
I know you freak on the Catholic Church's lack of women's rights--I have a very active role in the church as a teacher on many different levels. I don't need to be the Pope, or even a priest...I'm too busy. And not many individuals are called to do so, anyway. Many dioceses around the country are more liberal or conservative than others, so you cannot lump us all together. As you know, any institution takes ages and ages to change--and heck, I'm not worried about the state of my soul(OK) or of judging others (not OK), so for me it's a 'how can I do better' type of mentality while trying to be the best person I can be..there is lots in between that I will not get into here--suffice to say that not everything is black and white, Catholics aren't as backward as you think, and we are all in this together :)
As for your statement, "I would never have done what he did to be successful",...yeah, he worked his a$$ off, didn't he? Shows something about his character, work ethic, and perseverance. No substitute for that.
Thanks everyone for your
Thanks everyone for your feedback, I get the haters. Tending to agree w/ everyone that only negative twits feel the need to comment. But it still bothers me that all the articles about KR even the ones that ONLY write about his philanthropy, almost every comment goes back to his conservative views. I think the only part of the conservative agenda is his want for smaller government, I think he is quite liberal on all social issues. I know I am, I never never in my life have voted on a social issue, I only vote on who I think will fix our economy, or make it stronger. I also so agree w/ smaller government. Really don't care for the government telling me how big my big gulp can be. If ya know what I mean.
Lots of folks out there are
Lots of folks out there are downright jealous, especially the guys, lol. He went out and did it, and they didn't. Figures they'd whine, right?
Trolls, KRLO--
Trolls, KRLO--
I believe eventually they will go away as correct information continues to hit the press..
One can only hope that will happen, although if you look at any of the Yahoo or other sites' comments listed by posters on even general topics, people tend to be negative.
It seems for some reason, people tend to hate on others who are successful, like it's a curse or something...like you said, lots of misinformation out there--I do think that KR's initial perception by the public tended to be inflammatory (not that he cared, or does now..lol)
As for Crest (Lincoln?-) Mercury--I think I remember the dealership was right across from Jerome-Duncan Ford on Van Dyke..pretty sure my Dad bought a few vehicles from there :) LOL..and pretty sure his Dad worked his a$$ off to get where he was so I wish the general whining public would just STFU if they don't have something good to say..so there ;)

I thought it was a great article. As for people (haters), you can't change them no matter how hard you try. I believe Kid's love of Detroit and Michigan is genuine if that's worth anything. I don't see Madonna doing anything for anyone in this area, yet the press loves her. I recall an interview she once did where she said she got into music so she'd be able to get the hell out of Michigan (her words). Well, she's out and she can stay out in my opinion. Yet, everyone fawns all over her when she appears for a concert in Detroit. You couldn't pay me to see her. Sorry, it's obviously a sore spot with me. I look at Tom Selleck, Tim Allen, Lily Tomlin...the list goes on. They did what they could to promote Detroit and are proud to call it home, just as Kid does.
Yikes, that article provoked
Yikes, that article provoked some serious opinions. Lots of them. Sounds like most were not thrilled he supported Mitt.

Wow- I just read some of the comments and just remember there are always gonna be haters and even Kid Rock knowing that he does not stop supporting Detroit, the people and everything else he does and I highly doubt he will ever stop supporting-so Fuck the haters and be excited for what Kid Rock will being doing next with the release of his new cd, cause you know he'll be coming back strong!!! :)
