I am proudly a Missouri Democrat (there are only like 11 of us) so I understand the pressure. HOWEVER Bobby clearly believes in the truth and is unafraid to stand up for his own conscience. If you really believe he has any intent to harm the American people then you definately should stay away. His true fans are VERY protective of him and his character; how can we not? He is constantly urging us to think for ourselves. Turning the other cheek, after all, is a position of power... it ain't no punk move.

Me thinks detroitiron61 just read the headline of the NY Times, not the entire op-ed. That is all CNN or MSNBC show, they never show the entire article. Romney wanted a managed bankruptcy, that gets rid of all the waste, and believe me, private money would have come through, if private money couldn't finance everything GM and Chrysler needed, then the gov't would have given assistance. As it turned out both GM and Chrysler went through bankruptcy anyway, even with the bailout. I tend to read entire articles, not just the headlines, for some strange reason, I get more information that way, and can make better decisions. Sorry to be so snarky, but this is just getting tiring. Kid can support whomever he pleases, if you make your choices based on a musicians political preference, then I guess you will miss out on a lot.

It's not hard for me to believe that Kid would get slammed for supporting a guy like Mitt Romney. Romney born in Detroit son of George Romney CEO for American Motors years past. Mitt was very outspoken on how he felt Detroit would best weather the storms that were coming. He dissagreed that the UNITED STATES GOVT. handing the Manufacturers a check would fix what was wrong in Detroit. Yes we all agree that something was wrong but who will agree with how to fix it? Frankly I believe in Detroit and the US Auto Workers. All American Workers for that fact. Anyone who believes that by doing the best damn job they can no matter what that job defines who we are. I believe there are some great people doing great things like in most US industries. Then there are some that work for Union Pay praying for a lay off so John Hancock Insurance can make up 90% of the difference from what they would normally get paid for putting the stickers on the window as the cars come down the line for thier $48 dollars an hour. Yea I know a few and am related to many Autoworkers. There is good and bad in all. People are people.
Five years ago I hired a family member from Iypsi. He wasn't really qualified for what we needed but he was a good worker and we created a job for him till he found his place. For five years I paid him, fed him, housed him, paid his cell phone, got him a girl, paid 100% health insurance etc etc. At the end of five years my company came under pressure and we had to end some business. For no reason or fault we just couldn't support him anymore. All of a sudden we were no good to him.
Americans were all against the bailouts of major corps and banks. It cost us a ton of money and we didn't feel any benefit. I wish we had the money the feds gave to industries that are still f****** the American Public today. We all could have bought new cars or kept our homes. Mitt thought BK was a better option than bailout. Who knows. Do you? Kid Rock not a Detroiter Come the f*** on.
