Every year on my birthday, November 26, my husband takes me down to Eastern Market area for breakfast..I love it down there, especially in the summer. Great food and the people watching is always fun!

I can see them really turning this into a fab song in concert. Lots of different ways to take it.

I'm mixed... but this one is gonna grow on me for sure. I like it for it's old school ~feel good~ charm, the Slurry McMurray sax, feel a lil Seger influential element in there, you could cut it down and dry it out and make it into more of a 1950-60's bluesy bop song.. and that's where I'm mixed I'm such an old soul, like things raw and dirty.... not so over produced, yet it's not the 1950- 60s anymore, so I respect the new style elements, and of course, the homage to his hometown which, I could see having that song on driving into Detroit.. smiling and feeling fine. I think this song would be great to hear at a show. What a great way to put the song out there... thru michigan.org. 13 more days!!!

Hmm. Is okay. I probably would like it more if i was from Detroit. Is it single material? To me probably not. I would have to listen to the whole album to tell you which ones i would pick for that. Is it a nice song giving props to his home town area? Yeah. I expect he won't have to pimp it on teh corner in Detroit.....

Waiting to hear this album in it's entirety to form an opinion of it to be honest. They usually got give it a few listens to be fair about that. I like the sound and tone of Let's Ride. This song is has the feel of broadway musical with a Detroit skyline behind it to me. Kind of like the home page of this website.
