DETROIT, MI - The timing couldn't have been better for Kid Rock and Quicken Loans to unveil a Detroit-boosting commercial Sunday night during the World Series.

After Miguel Cabrera belted a two-run homer in the third inning for a 2-1 Tigers lead over the Giants, a nationally televised audience took a crash course in the Motor City.

The commercial, about 30-45 seconds long, is narrated by Kid Rock and shows various images of the city including a volunteer cleanup group, city landmarks and fans who appear to be cheering on the Tigers at Comerica Park.

You can watch it on YouTube or scroll down to the end of this post for the video.

It also directs you to a website, opportunitydetroit.com, while Rock's hit song "Bawitaba" is playing in the background.

Rock describes Detroit as "the intersection of muscle and brains."

Opportunity Detroit, also on Facebook and Twitter, appears to be an one-stop shopping website promoting city living, business opportunities and jobs, and entertainment.

Rock asks in the commercial a pointed question and provides an answer: "What does opportunity look like? It looks like Detroit."

Video of the commercial can be found below.

I see some serious Kid Rock and DSO footage in there. Visited the Opportunity Detroit website... outstanding ! Love how they added the job opportunity, housing, and places to go and see links.

No one loves Detroit more, or is a better spokesperson for the city, than Kid Rock! Michigan and Detroit are struggling; but we are making a comeback. Bobby said it before "we are all Detroit!"

I totally agree, SHERZ!!! Your video was incredible - each word, your musical choice, each image - definitely outta the park!!! I am inspired and motivated all over again and again! I cherish your wisdom of Acknowledgement, Effectiveness, Challenge, Creativity, Learning, Self-Reflection, and Assessment. You spell out so clearly that which is in my thoughts and soul. The website is absolutely fantastic, especially as I close in on my Michigan move. Thank you all involved for a God-send of information. Your encouragement had me dialing this morning a Wayne State with a Montana link professor. I completely agree with the molding, building, and creating, as well as, the intersection of muscle and brains. What does opportunity look like? Again, you spoke my soul's words and deepest desires...It looks like Detroit. The Big D, baby! Rock and Roll On!!!
