Finally, I can get a good night's sleep this week and stop being so crabby.....Congrats to the Giants - there was never any doubt in this World Series who the champs would be.

Maybe the Tigers can get some offensive weapons and make a run next year. What? They already have that - with signing the biggest free agent this year and you have the batting champ, who happened to win the Triple Crown for the first time in a generation?

Maybe they can get some good pitchers and make a run next year. What? They have the best pitcher in the league - along with 3 other quality starters?

They must need the support of a good GM and owner. What? They have the best in the league and an owner that will open a checkbook?

OK - Back to the manager.......f'in fire his old ass. He no longer motivates anyone. Bring back Gibby to the D and start winning some titles before all this talent leaves!

These are my final thoughts on the Tigers - now back to the countdown to the new CD - 21 days!

Their sliding is awful-no doubt about that, but I agree with you all that he should have never been sent in the first place. I was yelling like crazy at the tv as if they could hear me...

Bart so agree w/ you, no it wasn't Prince's fault for sliding wrong, nor Peralta's fault for not signaling to Prince to slide out, it was Lamont's fault for waving him in, especially w/ no outs, there would have been two on no outs, and just one sac fly and we have a run in. I also don't think Prince thought he would be sent in, I think he was running to third, fully intending to stop at third. Sorry just my thoughts, I'll stop beating a dead horse, what's done is done. Have to take the next 3, horrible on road trips. Go Tigers!!

I know it's only 1 play and I know they were trying to get the offense going......BUT......Why the hell would you expect a 300 lb man to actually score from first base on that hit? Did they think he was going to kick it into another gear to make it all the way around?

I give Prince credit - he did haul his big ass around the bases and made it close....but who in their right mind waves him in? With no outs? Early in the ballgame? With the score tied at zero? In the World Series - down a game?

Prince seemed pissed off after that play, so I was hoping he was going to come back with his own 3 HR game....Nope - nobody fueled that for him. We'll just play ball and see what happens! F'in Leyland and his OLD staff need to go!

One more thing - If they put in Valverde again in this series, I'm turning the channel and never going back until 2013.

OK - now I'm done talking about it - Having said that - Go Tigers - Take the next 3 at home and make it a series!

Ajay, read the Last Sultan, The Life and Times of Ahmet Ertegen. Ahmet did fabu work with Ms. Aretha. You are right, no air conditioning when she performs due to the negative affect it has on her voice.

Hope you got a great grade on the test.

I read somewhere that i think Aretha doesn't allow air conditioning the venues she plays? That true??? Anybody know. Something about it does something to her voice...

Would like to see her perform but i had a test tonite. Think i did good. Won't know til Friday @ the earliest and maybe Monday.

Too bad Tigers got beat. They better get after it from here on out or SF is gonna have it! And who the hell wants that. Well except for that one lady who comes here that is...
