    Foundation fundraiser on the cruise?
    rocksavedmysoul says (12 Oct '12)

I have been thinking about my Kids' bra post and wondered if the powers that be could do something similar, but different, for the cruise. Raffle tickets could be sold for items that Kid and the band members have signed like t-shirts, photos, guitar picks...stuff that the winners could easily pack in their carry on luggage as they head home. The money of course would go to the foundation. You know that the cruisers who won an item would cherish it and it wouldn't end up on ebay. A simple sign that has photos of each item would be all the advertising needed. If the 2,000 cruisers each bought a ticket for $1, then that's an easy $2,000. Who wouldn't buy a chance for a buck? The winners could pick up their prize as they leave the ship. I think it's a win-win situation and wouldn't take much effort and I bet people would buy more than one ticket. I would love to see this on the CMT4. BTW-we sail in 145 days!

I still remember the song that was playing as we left bingo..
"My heart belongs to you
But my dick is community property"
He heeeee

I like Bart's idea, too. Perhaps we could do both, that way, if people aren't comfortable forking over twenty for a big prize (perhaps a meet and greet), they could just pay a buck or two and win a smaller prize (signed cds, tshirts, photos...)
As for Bingo, Kracker and band should do it again (totally hilarious)

I like it, RSMS!! Like Bart said, would rather spend the chance $ on that than bingo...
Altho keep the bingo, too. I loved laughing along with the crew onstage :)

You must have read my mind....I was thnking something similar before the last cruise. I was thinking a $20 donation from each cruiser and present a check to Kid for $50K to the foundation at the end of the cruise. ($20 x 2500)

However, I like your idea better. You get a chance to win some limited edition items. Hell, I spent $80 on stupid bingo cards last year to try to win the money....

I like that idea, just think if they were 5 bucks each. I think one of the prizes should be dinner on the boat with a band member of the winners choice. For that prize, Id throw a Ben down.
