    My boyfriend

So, I have this new neighbor. He's house sitting for the people across the street who moved to Germany for three years. He's Chinese and speaks absolutely no English yet somehow he's become my "boyfriend" according to my kids and friends. He's always outside either smoking on the porch, pulling weeds, tending the landscaping...and the minute I step outside, he waves to me. It began as a simple wave that I naturally acknowledged by waving back. Now, it's like he's doing a frantic S.O.S. signal to catch my attention. It's very cute. I frantically wave back. When I get my mail (my mailbox is across the street on his lawn) he's out there and on a few occasions, I have tried to speak to him. He just waves some more and then does the universal "no" sign of crossing his arms in front of him. My daughter and I made panda cupcakes out of Oreo cookies and I ran one of the cupcakes over to my neighbor. He managed one word, "Tanks" (again, so adorable). I have to say, his simple wave makes my day.

lol--he's in his 60s, shorter than me (and that's short), but just the cutest thing.
Last week, I was getting out of my van in my driveway and my husband popped out of nowhere, scaring me half to death. I screamed and my boyfriend was out. I thought he was gonna jump my husband. Too funny.

love to see your cute quick stories posting again..Exactly what I was looking for..
Just be careful if he starts showing up outside in his boxers and bending over to get the paper and waving, he might want to take this "boyfriend" relationship a bit further..(lol)

Imagine how much he must appreciate your kindness, not knowing the language. How sweet.
