I would like to thank Kid Rock for saying publicly what so many of us think, not only through his words, but the music as well. Many people are waking up to the fact that these 2 political parties no longer represent what they once did. The Democratic party is no longer the party of the middle class working folks. The Republican party is no longer the rich white guy country club party. Things change.

I hope Kid Rock continues to do what he's been doing, speaking his mind and making music that just seems to get better with every album. Even if I disagreed with his political views I would still support his right to free speech and voicing his opinion, as I would anyone's.

I would like to take a moment to also thank Kid Rock for making the born free album. That album (times like these, born free, God bless Saturday, and purple sky in particular) helped me get through some rough times. I hope I get the opportunity to buy the man a beer sometime and thank him for that album personally.

Kid-the first concert I ever went to was the Beatles in NO, LA '64 and I was so in love with Paul McCartney for many years. Thank God I grew up. When I saw the concert for Obama where he told the crowd (gesturing as if he were giving a Papal blessing) "Now THIS is a president!". The Koolaid poisoning has overwhelmed so many; my family members included. I'm so in awe of your courage to stand up and so sweetly state your case -- acknowledging that you may lose fans and for that you were sorry. I think you will become an icon for those young people who are afraid to argue their case. Anyway, I had to search out your website to say thank you and if you lost a fan by doing that, I think you've gained many more! Thank you!

Kid. I also have been a fan of your music since the first time I and my two sons saw you perform with Metallica in Chicago about 16 years ago. Then seeing the tv segment when you went to perform and support our troops overseas hooked me. We try to catch your shows when possible. Soldier Field with Bon Jovi and Rockin the United Center earlier this year. I have always admired the way you've stood up for America and the American people and I respect your right to speak out in support of Gov. Romney even though you say it might cost you fans. Again, you speak from your heart and not from your wallet. Keep standing up for your beliefs. Livin in Chicago, Detroiter in heart. Go Tigers!

I have been a fan of yours for a long time, never once disagreeing with you but backing a man who only has interest in helping the already privileged has made me question just what your true character is. FORGET WHERE YOU CAME FROM?

I'm usually not one to post comments any where.....but I couldn't resist congratulating you on standing up for what you believe in politically!! Uncle Ted is in your corner and he doesn't give a #@$% who he upsets. If you don't stand up for something, you'll fall for anything. Your true fans will stay with you and the ones that don't.....weren't true fans at all. Keep on rocking!!!

I continue to be impressed with the person who is Kid Rock. He's a true American; Capitalist, Charitable, Values freedom, not without flaws but his heart is in the right place. Kid, I have a great deal of respect for you - standing up for what you believe in and your deeply shared vision for America. I am going today to buy everyone in my family a copy of your CD. Ah, the power of capitalism. I support KID for supporting folks like me who choose Freedom over Free (cheese). KID your fan base may change, but it wont shrink, it will grow from this.

This president has divided this nation like no one before. This election has permanent consequences, the situation is dire, and America is "the frog in the boiling pot". We have those waiting in the shadows for the moment they can take us, all the while we fight amongst ourselve and come to hate one another. We've made it easy for them.

These folks below who call you uninformed or a sell-out are angry because what they believe in is in jeopardy. While both sides have their points, they always will. One thing will not change and that is we must ALL make a choice. I choose Freedom over Free, others may not.

My suggestion to them is rather than try to change America into something it was not intended to be, move to a country that does practice all, or part of their vision. I am not trying to be mean or nasty, and I respect your beliefs that are not hateful and insulting.

I ask of you haters; Do not try to change America or Americans - true Americans are capitalists, that's the intent behind the founding of this country. That's just the way it is. There are options for those who prefer more of a socialist or comunist environment - and I mean this sincerely, not hatefully. Consider moving to a country where the government practices your beliefs.

Remember, the rich will not suffer from either choice made in November. It will be the middle class and the poor (you) who will still foot the bill - it's always been that way, and always will no matter what system of government or who is president. The question for all of us is; Do we want freedom or free cheese?

i am a 65 year old nashvillian in commercial real estate, and i am sining sweet home alabama allnight long. thank you kid for supporting Romney in the upcoming pres. election. thank you for realizing what this group of dems in power would do to destroy the America we love! Your a SELLOUT, your music goes against everything the Republicans and Democrats stand for! How much money did you get for turning on your fans? A rebel, you evidently don't know the meaning of the word. The Republicans and Democrats have blacklisted third party candidates, they do everything possible to rig the debates and you just helped them even more. You are the last person anyone expected to sell out! I hope you never sell another record, now the American people know your a FAKE!

Saw a clip on Fox News and I gotta tell ya that took alot of guts to stand up there and say what you did about the job this President has done especially in a country where most people in the entertainment business whether that be in music or movies is known for being very liberal. You will probably catch hell from other entertainers but it's the fans that buy the cd's the concert tickets etc. and you have a right to stand up and voice your opinion and I for one thought you were absolutely right on! Truth be known, i think more entertainers agree with you but they don't wanna be crucified by the media for voicing their opinion. So thank you for having the courage to do so.
