The music on Born Free was outstanding!!!!! Having it recorded with a tribute band... Not so much...lol We had to wait for the live show to hear the songs played the way they should have been. BY OUR BAND.. Seriously, I believe thats why there was so much hate on the album... Yes we love Kid Rock but what makes the sound we spend our money on is TWISTED BROWN TRUCKERS!!!!!!~!

I can't find whatever video you are talking about. My comment on the CD pic is it is kind bland. But then again it is Kid Rock. He seems to always put himself on the cover. Does it really have to be all blinged out though? Sometimes simple is good.

What is on the CD is what matters to me. A lot of times the cd is just a means to get the music, enjoy it, and hear it. Although i do love reading lyric sheets. And i love seeing the CD booklet itself. I guess because i am from teh old school. I remember records, tapes, and 8 tracks long before CD's and digital song files.

Looking forward to hearing the music this go around. LOVED Born Free unlike it seems so many didn't. But then again he has 3.3 million fans now on fbook and used to have about a million and half pre Born Free. So that tells me something. Like i say...we see. Definitely like what i have heard so far from "Let's Ride".

BTW waiting to see if i won that KRC contest on renaming the fan club! Think my entry is spot and good! I guess we see if Kid thinks so too!

Margo - you are too funny - Thank God for YouTube is all I have to say....That's the only reason I remembered it! I just rememer the shots of the strippers and Shakes at the concert - the rest of it was kind of fuzzy.

I don't remember Kid doing any "pre" video, videos! Although they did put the "Redneck Paradise" video together very quickly on the cruise for us to all see the last night.

Angel - I think you are right too. He did say in the Drew/Mike interview that hey would be shooting the video soon.

You must have a good memory, Bart. I don't remember that part, maybe starting to drink at 2pm at the block party might have something to do with that ;D I got the impression it wasn't the final video either, just the lyric video. Has he ever done that before with other songs?

He made an intro to the Comerica shows in 2011 and he used some of that footage for those little clips in "Let's Ride". I doubt that it is the official video, but something they put together for now.

I just had a chance to watch the"Let's Ride" video and the belt buckle shot reminds me of the photo I used for my profile pic after seeing him in Vegas...belt buckle and yummy tummy tight shot....you all remember that pic?

I see a bigger neck and smother eyes than what I see in person. I love the colored splatter in the back, too bad its not more colors. I belive it to be repersinitive of one man standing amounts a cluster, plain and simple, yet shrewd.....

Margo - I think he was talking about the previous WRIF interview when he was talking about the DSO show and had the beanie hat on - that he looked like he just woke up. That's why he put himself together more last week. j/k - he still looked like he just woke up with his baseball hat.

I agree with some of the font issue, the white goes into the white part of his shirt, makes it harder to read...other than that I like it. The flat iron thing, sometimes I've seen his hair wavy & speaking from someone who has wavy hair too, I always straighten my hair...ya always want the kinda hair that ya don't have :/ I love that it's recorded with TBT too, can't wait!!!

I hate to be negative cause I really think this album will be fantastic.. LOVE LOVE thats its recorded with OUR BAND, but the pr peeps hit a big Fail in my opinion with the cover.

I have never figured out why he irons his hair or blows it out flat.. I think thats where the term Greasy comes from. Its so much sexier when he leaves it natural. And it covers the thinning spots better... Of the thousands of pics I have seen of him this year, I would rate this pic close to the bottom.. And the font is barely legible and looks like a girly thing but I guess that matches the shirt hes wearing with the sports jacket....WTF

His hair looks flat iron straightened in the cover photo, compared with wrif interview...that's the only diff I see. If I recall correctly, he made mention of not knowing they were gonna be video taped during the interview & joked about not brushing his hair, had some bed head going on lol. Really, Angel...I like it, a very simple & clean look to me.

Are you talking about the helicopter pic? If so, that was the cover pic for "Lets Ride" single.
