"Vietnam vets to reunite for first time in 43 years, thanks to Jim Beam, Kid Rock"

Bet your ass these great Americans will be honored at my concert! Can't say they will like the music or the show, but I am honored to have them attend and I know myself and fans will treat them right! We honor our military every night and tomorrow will be no different, but it will be extra special with these wonderful Americans in attendance! One more reason I'm so proud to be a part of the Jim Beam family.

Just HAD to read the complete article before dropping a note... Kid, by surrounding yourself with a circle of 'comrades' who share similar Values, Beliefs, and Ideals; Your Light Shines Brighter and at times, pierces through that 'dark' place where some haven't made it through ... yet. (Care) If I were there, I would be the second to raise my stein, say "Thank You and Amen" ~ Prost! Salute! Cheers! and "Here's to YOU!" to the Five Branches of the American Armed Forces and their families. I would be the second, as I know YOU Bob, and your family, would be the FIRST! God Bless:))) your friend D

Thanks from one Veteran for honoring ALL of us. My brother's and sister's in arms from that era deserve our respect and they didn't get it when they came home. Show 'em some love. Oh, yeah, the Friday night show at the Dow Event Center rocked! Thanks for coming up to Saginaw!

My friends and I live in Grand Rapids, tried to get tickets, sold out to fast. However, my brother-a Master Sgt in the Army lives in Dayton. Everything works out!! My friends and I are making the road trip to see you there this weekend and take my brother and his buddy (Sgt 1st Class) to see you. He is both an Operation Freedom and Desert Storm "attendee to the party", so we are proud and so very honored to celebrate their duty to us with you in Dayton. We can't wait to see you this weekend. Thank you for all you do!!

The Vietnam Vets are great people of a different age. But they will be so happy to hear you sing. They should be honored, and all of us Americans, or our age- I am 46- did not treat them badly when they came home, we think they did a great job and we all hated the fact that they were so abused for the JOB they did in Vietnam. So Yes...HONOR them all, each and every one, living or dead, they earned it.

Absolutely amazing is what you are!!! Thank you for being the kind, caring and compassionate person that you are. And thank you for the honor you show to the men and women that make it possible for us to be born free. But most importantly THANK YOU to the men and women who put their lives at stake so that we can live ours the way we choose!

There was a great article in the Grand Rapids Press on Sunday about these vets and Kid Rock. It was really touching. So jealous of everyone who gets to attend tonights show. REALLY wish I could be there too. Guess I will have to be happy with the fact that I went to the birthday bash and will be on the ship in April too! Tried winning tickets to tonights show through 2 local radio stations with no luck. Kid Rock- YOU are my idol! Anyone with tickets laying around - let me know!

Hey, They really should be honored; our Vietnam Vets were there for their country and so over looked for their sacrifices. Good call to honor these individuals, you continue to score points in my eyes. Just a girl in Tucson, Az.

thanks Kid rock, what an awesome thing to do. I come from family of military. My great uncle is Basil Plumley, Sam Elliott played his part in "We were Soldiers". He is a great man and served this country well.

Hey Kid - I don't know if you personally read all these, but I have a GREAT story for you...My husband and son and I ate at the Outback last week and a family came in and sat behind us - the husband (dad) was in army fatigues. Then a guy sitting across from us flagged the waitress down and handed her about $100 and said "I want to pay for the man in uniform and his family's meal" she asked him if he wanted him to know that the $ was from him and he said "no". I just couldn't believe it! It was so GREAT!! So, when we were leaving I told that guy what a wonderful thing that is to do and he said : "well, they sacrifice their lives for us so it's the least I can do.." (he had a sadness in his eyes tho...I'm thinking that maybe he lost someone in the military....) THAT is how Americans should treat each other!! Our niece is in the Army - it was what she always wanted to do - she was very smart in high school and could have gone to any college etc., but joining the Army was what she wanted - she was in CAP thru high school and now she's stationed in Georgia - we are very proud of her and when other people take the time to let our soldiers know how important they are to us it really means alot! Just thought you would like that story...we hear alot of bad things all the time ..about how people are hurting each other etc., so it's nice to see (and hear about) something when someone does something nice for a complete stranger. Hey! That would make a good song??? By the way, we saw you in Saginaw on Friday - U r the BEST!!! I hope you read this!!! Rock ON!!

Being the daughter of Vietnam vet and knowing what he went through when he came home, I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart. As a NY'er who recently moved to Troy, MI I'm proud to share a state with people like you!
