now I can hear some audio for videos on the video section, for today anyway. however, still not home page though.

why can't I get audio on videos or clips on this site, but same ones come through on other sites? been for a good time.

I've been a fan for a long time. My family and friends have joined the ride and and look forward to the new cd. I started listening to music as a young kid because of my uncle. We jammed to everything. Billy Joel, Steve Miller, Hank Williams and Elvis Costello. As I grew up I learned to like my own music from Huey Lewis to Boogie Down Productions. You posted awhile back about music that never gets played or passed over or bands that just never make it. A few years ago Whitestarr opened for you and although they never made it the few cd's they put out still rock in my backyard today. I listened to a band called The Milk on itunes a few days ago and i think they fit into this catogory. It would be awesome to hear of new bands that the fans of you listen to and yourself.

My name is Lauren and my boyfriend is Jason Grider. Jason is your BIGGEST fan. He was in a car accident at the age of 17 (he is now 30) and broke his back (T-9) so he has been a paraplegic for 13 years this month. When he was in the hospital someone had asked what kind of music he liked and his mom told them hip hop....they brought him a Kid Rock CD as a result. I don't think he had listened to you much before that but he has said over and over again that he has a different kind of respect for you because your music got him through a very tough time. In July of this year the FDA gave the green light to The Miami Project to begin clinical trials on newly paralyzed individual by injecting Shwann Cells into the spinal cord. Animals that have had this cell therapy have shown up to 70% improvement in walking capabilites....so this is HUGE. They will start the trials on 8 newly paralyzed people then if the research goes as planned they will take on new patients that have been paralyzed for longer. This is what Jason and his family have been waiting for, and although it's exciting there is still the realization that he will never walk again. We are not naive but any improvement (bowel, bladder, sexual, etc) would be a miracle. Years ago it was thought that spinal cord injuries would never be fixbale but now it's not "if" it's just a matter of "when". The biggest problem that this research faces is funding. Not as many people are faced with spinal cord injuries as say, cancer or diabetes so there is not a lot of awareness. With research coming SO close, and on the verge of something miraculous, it's still expensive. We are reaching out to influential people to help bring light and hurry this process along. I know you guys are asked to do all kinds of charity events every day but I hope and pray that you will consider making this a project of yours.

Kid-your the man! I've listened too you as long as I can remember honest to god. I've been to almost 20 kid rock shows now. I have not missed a single show in Michigan buddy! I'll continue to go to every kid rock show until you hang the guitar up and call it a career. Thank you for being you. Thank you for being real. Thank you for the music you give us and never turning your back on who you are or where your from. There will never be another. I was 12th row for the show at the fox with the dso this early year. Boy what a kick ass show!!! I lived broke for 2 weeks just too see this show and id do it over and over again without a doubt. Out of any music artist or music in general your music is #1 too me. I buy you clothing I buy you music I buy your memerobila you name it. I got a bad ass kid rock oak photo collage at a wings game last season and was like a kid on Christmas morning! Thank you again! What a true artist that got lost in the shuffle here in the US, but so loved in South Africa. His fans have the love that we have for YOU! How about you do something for your " funny cigarette and two dollar bottle of wine" crowd. I have been to two of your concerts and have noticed the absence of wine from the available drinks. You should really try to get a wine sponsor. That would be wonderful. I realize that you cannot do much on the "funny cigarette" end, but you surely can get a wine sponsor that I can buy drinks from at your next concert, this summer I am sure.
Although I don't believe in the war, I DO support our troops. I want to thank you for your outstanding support of our troops over the years. Even though my husband and I don't always agree on the reason for war, we always agree on how our troops should be treated. We honor the brave men and women who have volunteered to go to war on our behalf. We continue to support the Paralyzed Veterans of America, Wounded Warrior Project and , of course, Operation Homefront. You bring tears to my eyes with the things that you do for our soldiers. I, we, thank you from the bottom our hearts.

Knowing how much Kid Rock loves Michigan and how dedicated he is to making a difference in people's lives, I wanted to be sure he knows about the girl from Lansing, Michigan. Her name is Whitney Kropp and I just saw her story on Facebook. Apparently she is the victim of bullying from viscous girls at her high school. They nominated her as a homecoming queen candidate and after her excitement, informed her it was all a joke. An alum from her high school heard of the situation and created a Support Whitney Kropp facebook page. The community is coming together to help her pay for her dress, dinner, flowers, etc. I just though Kid would like to know, just in case he, in some way, could help to really "shut up" the bullying girls and take a stand against bullying. (And make a horribly humiliating, life changing experience into an unforgettable, amazing life changing experience!)

I am a huge fan of yours and write this to you with a heavy heart in hopes you could to take a second to visit the FB page "Prayers for Lane Goodwin", he's 13 yr-old boy who lives in Beech Grove, KY and has been battling cancer for three years. HIS WORDS to his doctor on Monday were, "you can't fix it anymore." He's home with Hospice care and his family who are making him comfortable. Giving a "thumbs up" to his family after treatments became his "signature sign" that he was okay. Folks from around the world are posting photos to his FB page with pics of them with their thumbs up for Lane, as he prepares for his angel wings. I was hoping you would send him a "Thumbs up" and share this. It would be just one more way to show him just how much his place in this world made a difference to so many even without knowing him personally. He is such an incredibly strong young man, and his family's story is so, so, so inspiring for all of us!
