    I have been seeing posts on facebook that Kid Rock will be on the air with the morning crew on WRIF this morning. The original post was posted on the wrif's page.

    Excitement level aroused... what could it be?? Could there be a possible new album? - song to hear??? How about a big concert or tour announcement???

    I guess we will find out soon enough :)

    For those who don't live in Michigan... looks like we can still listen in :)

What a great interview! Kid Rock is solid. 11.19.12 I will be purchasing the unedited version at my local store. "Let's Ride" has a old school rock and roll vibe, kick-ass vocals/backup and some kinda sound that reminds me of 70's rock, in the 2012! Anything for our troops......hope they all get a copy of Rebel Soul for Christmas 2012!!!! I will buy one extra copy and send it to one of our troops!

Love that Kid did this song for the troops. Very cool album cover! Have them both on my phone.
I am also thrilled to hear Kid's new cd is just him and TBT :)))Not that I don't like Martina or Zac but it is Kid's voice and music I love.
So when does the tour begin????

This was the only thing I could find so far about a sequel from this website & I think it was just talking about the DVD/CD not another show :( I could have sworn I read that they'd like to do another concert, I could be wrong, wouldn't the first time or the last ;) http://www.leonardslatkin.com/notes-mid-May12.shtml
Plans are already in the works for a sequel. We hope that there is enough useable material from the concert for a CD and DVD. I am now officially Leonard “Badass” Slatkin, as Kid Rock told the audience. I am also keeping my fedora.

Wow Margo that would be so cool if that was the case! Too bad he didn't do a little tour with them like he did the "Care Tour" I so would of loved to seen that show and for my son to have!!!

After listening to the whole thing on the website, I found myself laughing a lot with them. I mean it's true about him having the 'over 40 and chubby women market' besides he's not a young pistol there any longer himself, and I thought it was cute how he said it, and proud, ya know we love ya Bob..lol
Thought it was crazy interesting to find out that there wasn't much rehearsal with the DSO, wow! I mean I know a lil bit on how it works b/c of going off of sheet music when playing viola for the school orchestra, and how it would be hard to jam or improvise the whole orchestra for a set couple of measures that isn't included in their sheet music... might as well have the conductor turn around and stick the baton up his you know what and dance those few measures while the violinist are sitting there scratching their heads with their bows...lol
Anyway.. just insane to hear what lil rehearsal there was.... because the show was just magnificent !!!
The song: Being that he said he makes songs for his fans... I think it's quite an honorable and stand-up thing respecting his armed forces fans that surround us. I thought I was hearing some crazy harp play on the clip in Nascar... but hearing it on the radio... I hear guitar..... lotta good guitar play up in there... and the tambourine don't sound too bad either...lololol

Anyone catch, what sounded like, communication of some form perhaps radio in combat in the beginning of the song.. with the guitar and harp.

I slept in also too many nightmares on what I need to accomplish at work for the the old job. Old habits die hard. It's large round women on the cruise. He is past the laundromat days. Oh how he has grown!

Yes the screaming is back!!! lol. I didn't notice it as much the first 2 times I heard it, then on the way home from grocery store, turned on Wrif & Anne was introducing Kid's new song...perfect timing! I was thinking that same thing too Cheryl, how tough it is during the concerts & he pauses for it:) Hey I thought Kid liked large round women in laundromats?...now that songs gonna be stuck in my head ;)

When he is on concert we are going to hear the remark about that wonderful scream at the end, as there is a time or two that he mentioned what was I thinking when is had to scream for Bawithdaba. So true Just Because us over 40 housewives are some of his biggest fans. Ria chased him down this am and got a pic of him in the Escalade. Too funny. So glad to know that he is finally doing a DVD. Both Comerica concerts and DSO. Will need to get that for sure. Losing my job this week will certainly put a damper on the Kid Concerts. Bass Pro can suck it. 7 years of hell. Then to make matters worse Bob has the Bass Pro coffee mug sitting in front of him on the Wrif. Made me want to scream. If I didn't love Kid I would have beat the computer screen. Of all things for me to see. LOL

LOL RSMS and I were texting back and forth during the whole thing....dropped kids off at school and sat in a parking lot listening. Hubby called (where the hell are you?) during fat and forty comment, so I didn't hear the whole thing--I thought it was one of the Rif guys dissing us cus KR said he's 'proud to have us :)' I liked 'Lets Ride'--can't wait to hear the rest--Laurie and I are still kicking ourselves that we didn't end up in that room on the cruise listening to them jam!!!! Can't wait to read/hear the political piece he talked about ;) As always a fun conversation.
