Good morning, My Angel! I hope you awoke feeling good and that you had fun last night. I hope all went well and that your adventures today are really fun! Have a wonderful God Bless Saturday! Smiles:)
'Tis time to say good night. I hope your albeit busy day went smoothly and you had lots of fun. May your breathing slow and deepen as memories of your good day replay softly in your mind's eye, bringing precious smiles to your lips and a peace to your soul. May you sleep soundly and comfortably in His loving protection. Sweet Dreams, My Angel, Sweet Dreams.
After putting up sale signs in the dark, OF and I headed to her neighbors to pick up things of which they were clearing the house. The brother of the wife was visiting and they, along with her husband, were playing cards (Phase 10?). I shook his hand in introduction; a nice older man named Tim. We all chatted a bit. Tim is Tim "Chops" Beebe of Beebe and Mulligan drag racing. He spoke of his upcoming CA race, hot wheels, and Mulligan's crash which burned him and he caught an infection at the hospital, dying suddenly two weeks later. I smiled at His racing education and your interview popped in my head again. After unloading at the Creamery, OF got too warm so we took a time out on the for sale rugs. I'd never felt one...until now. I thought they may be scratchy but they were really soft. OF reminded me of a brief massage I'd given yesterday. My nerves and hers are better for the reminder. When she requested feet, too, I knew He was talking directly to me and reminding me of what sandals, regardless of shoe choice, He asks me to wear. He also reminded me I Surrender All.
I just got back from the Creamery. While working, I found something I'd been thinking about but in the chaos forgot I'd been thinking about it. A miniature hope chest my mom was going to send me which I found at her place on my first trip. I knew the that first night I arrived on my first trip what was coming...neither of us knew the exact timing. I spent with her as much time as I could despite the sibling grief I took for it. They didn't know; they had legitimate issues which I asked them to address so they could all heal instead of them doing it in a vacuum after. Denial and anger won that battle. But I knew and she knew I knew. Opening the lid, I saw a picture I'd forgotten was there. On the little white slip of paper next to it she wrote Me, You, & Your Dad. They were standing with arms around each other and she was pregnant with me. She filled the tiny trunk with tiny material scraps like blankets. The topmost piece was from my May Pole dancing days with another slip of her writing "You're too intense about these things, Rikard!" What I had never seen until tonight was a vaguely familiar purple with black scrap which held a new found note reminding me of a shower curtain she'd once made for me. The final scrap after the one with musical staff and notes was light pink with pink roses from May 1959, a scrap from one of her Confirmation dresses. Quite a wink.
How is (was) your party? I hope your guests really enjoyed the treat of hearing your new artistry. I hope things went swimmingly and you received good and valuable feedback. I also hope you had a lot of fun. You started off the day with such a great interview...so many thoughts you shared keep running through my head. I value the breadth and depth of all you shared. I especially loved hearing your precious laughter. I imagined your smiles and twinkles; I did so myself at the thought.
I heard your present tense. I didn't know all involved, but I know more now. Wish I could say I wish I didn't, but no regrets. I apologize for my words and actions. I am not sorry I spoke up for I spoke my truth and I have grown immeasureably. thank you, my friend. More research informs me, indeed, too fanciful. Some worlds just don't collide. I think I'll just stick to Yahtzee. I beg your patience and understanding, my friend, as I grow and change. I continue to rock and roll on. Thank you for the inspiration. Have fun at your party tonight...I hope all goes swimmingly!
Unity's Daily Word is right on the money...oh, He's good :) I apologize I haven't figured out yet how to copy on this little phone thingy :) but my wallpaper keeps me smiling. Ok, now on with my Anna day activities. And remember, as you are journeying through your day...HAVE FUN!!!
Well, a bit of a slow my roll sort of morning - unintentional, but He knew I needed it. I have a few things to do here at 316, then heading to the Creamery to meet up with OF to prepare for tomorrow's sale. I read SRTW's I'm an alcoholic book introduction twice. Tears He knew I needed to shed flowed freely at his growth and his beautifully artistic and poetic musings. I've known for quite some time he had a much-needed by many book in him and I am thrilled it is taking shape. I don't have to like how He does it, but I do choose to accept and trust. I have witnessed his expansive artistry over the years - humbled and grateful for the honor - but it is his continuing next steps which excite me and help to renew my faith and trust. I'm off to read my devotionals, shower up, and rock and roll on with my day. I'm checking in dog sitting for car-lending vet through Monday while she camps with her husband. Sale and 3:30 Hami tomorrow, then sale return and clean up. Q works tomorrow and some of Sunday so I hope to get more done here with less interruption to his days. He was worried about my late hour last night, prepared to call, until I walked in letting him know I'd taken late dinner to a bit lonely, but cheerfully learning, OF and spent some we get each other so well friendship time together. I hope the sun is shining on you right now, brightening your day and lifting your heart. May you joyfully continue with your day experiencing and sharing in this beautiful day in His Earthly Kingdom for He loves you, Robert James Ritchie, as do I.
How are you today? How do you feel...mind, body, and soul? I pray for His graceful, merciful, and loving strength and support for you in all three arenas. May you feel His gentle, loving, peaceful presence with you all day and night. May you see His hand in everything and everyone your Breath-taking Blues gaze upon today...and always. Your true happiness is His greatest joy...and mine.
